"Trainspotting: Using Born Slippy 'serendipitous'
Born Slippy by Underworld, from the original Trainspotting, was released in 1996. It was co-written by Rick Smith who went on to work with Trainspotting's director Danny Boyle on the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
Rick Smith says life for the band completely changed after Born Slippy was used in the film."

I watched (when i was younger) the series Life and then they did 'life 10 years later'..... it was not a classic (and thats putting it mildly) so it doesnt allways work.
The sound track was amazing in T1!

I remember โthis life" I worked for a lawyers at the time. Andrew Lincolns done alright in walking dead and Jack davenport in Hollywood and that other guy in bergurack. Loved trainspotting and looking forward to the new film. I'm a big Irvine Welsh fan so I'm biased.

This Life - that's the one I was thinking of. Liked that show. Didn't know there was a 10 year on version.

as for T2 - heard Ewan put his foot down this morning - aye still a quiet chap of principle.
reckon T2 should be cool - otherwise they'd have ran a mile... (yes that kind of run..)

Will be interesting to see if they factor that, or just keep it as the 10 years.

I rewatched the original the night before as a refresher and this new one is not a patch on it
