Skiing in France, by Coach on Jan 26, 2017 22:34:53 GMT 1, Went for a week. Within two hours on first day had bad fall, even though on nursery slope. Ski should have come off. It didn't. Dislocated knee cap and torn ligaments. Rest of week in chalet, daily injections in the stomach. Could not get out. Flown home separate from family. Operation. From what I saw in two hours, I agree, the scenery was lovely. there's always one coach, .....sometimes there's two but there is alwaysย one!!!!!!
And it's usually me! Seriously though, I hope he has a great time.

Got to agree Austria is lovely. Been to France Italy and Andorra as well but hands down Austria was the prettiest and best place for a winter holiday.

Skiing in France, by JW on Feb 12, 2017 19:49:14 GMT 1, Just got back from a week in Morzine and loved it. Thankfully we had some snow early on in the week as it desperately needed it. We had quite a few novices in the group and they were appreciative of the number of blue runs and pretty scenery. Skiing in Les Gets seemed the most popular choice for them.
Austria can't be beaten for the Aprรจs, but if you prefer a group of friends in a chalet with bottomless wine then Morzine has been my favourite so far (over Meribel/La Tania/Val d'Isere).
