Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by bigtlt on Jan 18, 2018 22:40:38 GMT 1, Good varied selection of wall pieces and plenty of boxsets each day Monday to Wednesday this week. Wall sections went fairly quickly, but seemed to be topped up at least once each day.

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by Deleted on Jan 18, 2018 22:53:53 GMT 1, Not sure if this has already been mentioned, apologies if so. The tours from the hotel, which currently is a tour of the separation wall and Aida camp for $30, will be extended to include 3-4 hour tour of Jerusalem too after the short break at the beginning of February. This is from the booking pages - The tours are amazing and will enhance your stay. We believe in them so much we nearly made them a compulsory part of the booking process. They are $80 per person and consist of the following: Time: 10am Description: East & West Jerusalem that is operated by Israelis Duration: 3-4 Hours Time: 3pm (the start time varies as the seasons change due to the heat) Description: Walking tour of the Wall/Refugee Camp that is run by Palestinians Duration: 2 Hours Sounds like the same tour i did with my wife when the hotel opened, it was excellent, can't recommend it enough

If so, they had a few, I picked one of those up

Well worth it, and beyond informative! If you are only going to do one tour that is the one to do. But I suggest doing as much as you can to see life in the West Bank as well.

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by kaimac on Jan 19, 2018 23:26:48 GMT 1, Hi folks. a friend of mine is visiting Israel next month, and will be doing a day in Palestine so has offered to drop by the hotel to pick me up some pieces. Any tips on how to secure stuff as a non-resident? I've read through the thread and see there are limits #s available each day, but curious if anyone has any more specific bits of advice? I was hoping she'd be able to grab me a grappling hook, but looks like they are sold out now!

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by kaimac on Jan 19, 2018 23:35:56 GMT 1, Reading up on it now. I just looked at the online store and sent her links of stuff I liked (that unlimited print, the key fob, wall sculpture and grappling hook). Didn't realize there was anything that cost more than a couple of hundred bucks for sale there.
Aha - was there only one hook for sale?

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by Aubrey 245 on Jan 24, 2018 1:48:34 GMT 1, Don't know if already mentioned, but I just saw on the 'Bookings' page of the WOH they reduced their non-bookable days in February from 5-6 to only 3 (from February 5th-7th).
Any ideas what might be going on there? I had a talk with some staff guy who told me they have to work these three days.

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by Gunny on Jan 30, 2018 12:30:21 GMT 1, Going again soon and want to ask if anyone has recommendations for hotels in Tel-Aviv. I would like a good location, near beaches and a half decent price? Can anyone help?
Also, has anyone any links to pages on the forum that give this kind of info and things to do. Thanks a lot.

It's right by the beach, and reasonably priced.

I'd recommend skipping Tel Aviv and staying in Palestine. Don't support Israel. I'd say if you are thinking of staying in Israel after having been at Banksy's hotel I'd suggest you missed the whole point.

And I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of people that haven’t actually seen a banksy on a wall but it doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t want to own a print.

The first time we went to Bethlehem we spent a few days mostly in Bethlehem but did the two hotel tours and the tour guide who gave us the tour in Jerusalem said that we need to visit the Old City if we ever came back and we did that the week before Trump's embassy decree and it was brilliant. It's well worth a visit if your plans aren't fixed assuming its still safe to visit post that announcement.

Plenty to do and see try booking Western Wall Tour before you go english.thekotel.org/western_wall_sites/western_wall_tunnels/ and Ramparts Walk around old City.

Gunny I dunno if you have been before but the Old City of Jerusalem is an amazing place to visit. Old City of Jerusalem is definitely worth a visit. Plenty to do and see try booking Western Wall Tour before you go english.thekotel.org/western_wall_sites/western_wall_tunnels/ and Ramparts Walk around old City.
