Am there Sunday night, if any other forum members are around and fancy a pint drop me a line. I know the hotel has created lots of discussion but the fact its encouraged me (and the wife) to get into Palestine and take it in for ourselves ... well, that has to be a win regardless of your politics. As excited about doing the tours as I am buzzing re seeing the hotel. Cannot wait tbh!
It's amazing, one of the biggest adventures I've ever had.

Oh my word it really is fantistic, I know there are many excuses not to come; cost (it's not expensive if you plan budget flights - we flew in via Romania), danger (it may flare up but my wife and I have felt really safe all day/night and we wandered the old town till gone 11pm with the tourists all long gone back to Jerusalem) or a sense that you've seen it all on here/instagram (believe me you haven't, it's a huge enterprise and it blows you away, no detail is missed). On top of all that once here you realise the hotel isn't even the main attraction. The people are incredible, so friendly and such fun. We had such a laugh working with the guys in Wall mart (we put a bee on the wall as the wife is a Mancunian and it felt timely), learnt a shed load with Siad on the tour and made numerous pals in Rewind (beers!) and around Manger Sq. I'd bore you with the pics (currently laying under the pillow fight work and have the CNN stone thrower screen at the end of my bed - I got the Banksy room) but you know, get out here, see for yourselves, it really is so so worth it!
So we finally got here. They say it is up to my bank as all 4 payments left their account apparently. My bank say they can't track a payment that never arrived.

It took me 3-4 weeks to get the other half as Seetickets.com told me that they had 'irrefutable guarantee that it had been refunded' this was totally untrue, they were then very unhelpful and refused to do anything more. I had to get my bank to chase them, and finally, after 3-4 weeks they got my money back, no apology from them at all, just said that the 'system' registered it as a duplicate refund and so cancelled 1. Just make sure you double check you get the money back, very bad experience for me.

... ask see tickets for the remittance advice that shows payment to your bank and account ...

Here (below) is a snapshot of 1 email I sent, it has my Reference on it that you may quote if you want to say it has happened to this guy so check your stupid system...I emailed them direct at the address shown, they kept telling me not to as it was not for that use, but I kept at it and got there. I cant believe that I am the first person who has booked a transfer but both parties were at odds with each other !
Anyhow live chat worked fine for me and was less frustrating than calling them.

i just saw they have a Facebook page and perhaps a twitter account, maybe an idea would be to ask them on social media why they have not refunded you fully
also point out the issues you have
i would imagine someone high up that has his own office and a big boy table and chair may take notice?
if not, hit them with a small court claim
if that fails, fill a fire extinguisher up with paint, drive to their offices, and errr.......................

Seetickets promised to revert to me by COB yesterday but didn't. The hotel reception did and confirmed that all is good for pick up at airport hotel in Tel Aviv, whether or not was as a result of Seetickets contacting them who knows but based on this thread I'd say it was unlikely |

I had to cancel my initial dates I booked and after sending the email to customer service it was canceled the very next day. Hopefully your issue gets resolved but doesn't seem like the norm. |
