They were only there one day. Not sure if they were just sold out for the day . Anyone know someone who is there now to confirm anything??? They seem to get an allocation each day so whilst they may have been sold out for that day I am sure others would have become available later in the week

If they're sold out, guests have to wait until the next day, but than it should be no problem to get one. |

We used Ashraf and he took us to all the Banksy pieces and on the evening dropped us off at a couple of bars and picked us back up at the end of the evening - top bloke and speaks good English.
The tour we booked with Hotel was superb and I would highly recommend that too.

Fantastic hotel and incredibly insightful
The tour of the camp was very worthwhile (very sad (disgraceful) to see how the soldiers acted. We were fortunate enough to see with our own eyes)
Boxed sets were available then as were wall sets with miniature figures on them. It seems they are keeping a record of the buyers with the emaol addresses etc

Below is a shot of the original version of the Banksy artist room, which is hung with several of his Banksy/Basquiat (Banksquiat) canvases, and the second photo below it is how the room looks now. The big Banksquiat canvas is now in the Blue Scenic room, but the other Banksquiat pieces seem to have been removed completely:

Not sure if Danny Boyle was paid or not, but looked like a lot of work went into the nativity play, and documentary about it.
Also, paying for the hotel (building and staff) might not be covered purely by renting the rooms.

Yes I think the earnings from the crucifix will go into the refurbishment of the Hotel in General (during the feb break) and creation of more rooms |

I guess it makes sense to help fund the hotel but a shame that the works are just disappearing and no longer available for the common visitor and just go to end up in some wealthy visitors collection.

Therefore, it would be strange if they remove the Banksy paintings without exchanging them against new ones. Additionally, I also know that no artwork was serioulsy damaged since the opening.

I highly recommend reaching out to Baha Hilo co-founder of To Be Here Baha@tobe-here.com. Baha has a deep knowledge of the history of the region and provides tours of the wall and Camps. I spent over three hours talking with him and could have spent many more hours if I did not have to leave. Otherwise, almost all cabbies by the hotel know the location of the Banksy's in the area and can take you to any of the destinations within the West Bank. Be sure to negotiate the rate, as the first offer will likely be double the actual cost.

The staff in the hotel are so lovely, always smiling and ready to help out. I also met some great people who were staying. It really is worth making the effort to experience first hand.

The tours from the hotel, which currently is a tour of the separation wall and Aida camp for $30, will be extended to include 3-4 hour tour of Jerusalem too after the short break at the beginning of February.

The tours are amazing and will enhance your stay. We believe in them so much we nearly made them a compulsory part of the booking process.
They are $80 per person and consist of the following:
Time: 10am
Description: East & West Jerusalem that is operated by Israelis
Duration: 3-4 Hours
Time: 3pm (the start time varies as the seasons change due to the heat)
Description: Walking tour of the Wall/Refugee Camp that is run by Palestinians
Duration: 2 Hours
