The tours from the hotel, which currently is a tour of the separation wall and Aida camp for $30, will be extended to include 3-4 hour tour of Jerusalem too after the short break at the beginning of February. This is from the booking pages - The tours are amazing and will enhance your stay. We believe in them so much we nearly made them a compulsory part of the booking process. They are $80 per person and consist of the following: Time: 10am Description: East & West Jerusalem that is operated by Israelis Duration: 3-4 Hours Time: 3pm (the start time varies as the seasons change due to the heat) Description: Walking tour of the Wall/Refugee Camp that is run by Palestinians Duration: 2 Hours Sounds like the same tour i did with my wife when the hotel opened, it was excellent, can't recommend it enough

Any ideas what might be going on there? I had a talk with some staff guy who told me they have to work these three days.

Gunny I dunno if you have been before but the Old City of Jerusalem is an amazing place to visit. The first time we went to Bethlehem we spent a few days mostly in Bethlehem but did the two hotel tours and the tour guide who gave us the tour in Jerusalem said that we need to visit the Old City if we ever came back and we did that the week before Trump's embassy decree and it was brilliant. It's well worth a visit if your plans aren't fixed assuming its still safe to visit post that announcement. |

Is it possible that Lush is there at the moment (Big guy with dreads?)? Heard some rumors about him giving the Sami Musa / Dominique Petrin artist room a new look within the next days.
There have been some UK people working and planing with the managers in the lobby some things on their computers, scheduled for the next days, as the hotel won't 'close' the next days, all the staff has to work. It is just 'reserved'.
Nobody from the hotel confirmed it, but people outside are talking about new Souvenirs.. A Box Set with the Pillow Fight or the Angel Graffiti, as well as Wall / Door Sections with the 'Peace on earth' or 'Er Sorry' works on them.
The new receipts with the golden stars and WOH emboss have already been mentioned here, as well as they taking a photo of your passport before purchasing.
Really recommend the Walking Tour to the Aida Refugee Camp, which I could not go on last time due to the protests there. Extremely interesting & shocking at the same time, lost for words in some moments, definitely the highlight of the trip there. Especially the guide Marwan is absolutely fantastic!

Interested to see what (if anything) has changed when hotel re-opens to public on Thurs.
