I read a post/thread recommending a taxi driver from a forum member who booked for a whole day, Dead Sea and general tour etc...for the life of me I can't find the thread/post so if that was your point in the right direction would be appreciated.... and any other tips... noted on the courgette flat bread pizza!
What size taxi do you need? If its a 7/8 seater use the one at the hotel. I have his number if you need it

The views are stunning. They bring you up to a Greek Church built into the mountains

Try a trip on the cable cars in Jericho on the way to the Dead Sea. You have to pass them to get there The views are stunning. They bring you up to a Greek Church built into the mountains |

On a seperate one, the hotel is now taking bookings upto December 2019, I really hope they stay open until Xmas 2020 as I've been given a pass to take our littlen over for Xmas in Bethlehem !

Carl i took four of my girls over for Christmas 2017.
They loved it at that time of the year. The big crib in Manger Square is stunning.

Judging by the posts that folks have left on here post a hotel visit, I think you would find that most folks like myself from outside of the region learned loads about the situation whilst visiting the hotel. |

This time I managed to hit the wall 35 times... and the streets of Bethlehem 15 times in just 6 days. Hospitality from the hotel was amazing as always. We received bottle of wine after painting all day and spent one night in Secret Room for free. ![]() ![]() 
Secret room? Is this in the same area where you swipe your card over the fallen Madonna with big boobies to get in  tell us more if poss, I’m curiously curious
