I’ve been through Allenby twice however if you want to come back through that you will need a multi entry visa for Jordan as they don’t issue visas at that entry point coming back in. From Amman you can get an Uber to the border around 20 quid, and from the Israeli /Palestinian side get a shared bus to Jerusalem, well that’s what I did. In regards to good old Israeli hospitality, as alway leave the West Bank off your itinerary. Both times I’ve been through....first time with friend about an hour and mild questioning then on the way out very hostile, and loads of questions of who I know in Indonesia as being a Pom in Perth that’s the Aussie Ibiza, still they just saw Indonesia and thought Indo and a Muslim nation stamped repeatedly, sad. Second time with girlfriend and breezed through and out. One thing to keep in mind is if you get a Palestinian taxi back to the border they cannot take you all the way to the Border, and then you have to switch to an Israeli plated taxi. Oh and it’s about 35 pound departure tax leaving Israel. That aside Jordan is great and as with Palestine the people are welcoming.

Yeah, I've just come back from Indonesia so have stamps as well as 3 more from UAE for work so not looking forward to the Israeli interrogation again. Lied through my teeth about where I'd been on way back and had to explain I'd popped to Bethlehem for a day when they found the box set in my suitcase! Thanks for the info, will check it out.

I don’t think there is an ideal route. Travelling alone or a group of guys draws, or have ancestral connections to the Middle East you’re likely to be quizzed. Also they now have a camera on the hotel so see all guest coming in and out all day. It’s a sad reality but worth it once you finally get there because the region is amazing. Feel free to message anytime.

I have always used the taxi service and it is great, saves a lot of messing around.
On my last visit, I got the train from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem had a couple of hours there and then a taxi to the checkpoint. The hotel is a short 5 min walk from the other side of the checkpoint. It was a lot simpler than I thought it would have been

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by jp on Oct 30, 2019 20:38:40 GMT 1, If you stay in Jerusalem for a night or 2 before going to the Walled Off, you can take the airport shuttle called Nesher.
It is a shared yellow mini van that collects several people traveling to the same direction and can bring you right to your hotel. the cost for the nesher is around 75 shekels per person, you will see them standing in the exit, no need to reserve in advance.
I used this to get to my hotel in Jerusalem, and took the Walled Off taxi when I returned.

It's not linked up to the airport. Just say you've been to Bethlehem and visited the religious sites such as manger square. Dont mention the separation wall or Palestine or camp aida as they are political.
Dont lie as youl end up getting caught out for nothing, just be economical with the truth and youl be fine.

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by proffesser on Oct 31, 2019 10:56:18 GMT 1, Stayed at the WOH in April for my 50th... two nights in both the Banksy rooms and staff moved our bags from one to the other whilst we were out and about... traveled there after 2 nights in Jerusalem which was a superb experiance and caught and bus from just outside one of the gates in the old town which took us right into Bethlehem with no checks. On our way back walked though the check points with no real bother, took a taxi to the train station and caught a superb slow train though lovely countryside to Tel Aviv ready for the journey home..
Did have lots of questions on leaving but answered economically and after 10-20 mins was allowed though to board our plane...
loved the whole experience and looking to go back again..

It was recommended by someone who worked at the hotel. He called the guide and coordinated for us. You should be able to shoot the guide an email directly. Hopefully he is still safe and able to operate.

Banksy - The Walled Off Hotel ★★★, by andi on Nov 16, 2019 18:04:53 GMT 1, Hey guys,
I am at the walled off today and the got a new delivery so everything is available (4 key chains and at least 10-12 different wall bricks). And the problem is: they allow me to buy as much as I want. I already bought a few for 7500 NIS and tomorrow I am going to buy a few more for family and friends.
What I am curious about: Since I am only travelling with hand luggage I am a bit skeptical about the Box Sets. Are the allowed on the plane? It looks like this is not real glas but plexi glas, so shouldn't be a problem?
Thanks, Andi

I am at the walled off today and the got a new delivery so everything is available (4 key chains and at least 10-12 different wall bricks). And the problem is: they allow me to buy as much as I want. I already bought a few for 7500 NIS and tomorrow I am going to buy a few more for family and friends.
What I am curious about: Since I am only travelling with hand luggage I am a bit skeptical about the Box Sets. Are the allowed on the plane? It looks like this is not real glas but plexi glas, so shouldn't be a problem?
Thanks, Andi

Does the WHO organize day trips to Jericho? , can't seem to find many tour operators in Bethlehem, any input. thanks roger Alaa (https://www.instagram.com/alaa_taxi_driver_bethlehem) offers private tours to Jericho, Dead Sea and the Jordan River for an acceptable price (not more expensive than the other tour if you're more than 1 person).
I did a tour with "Green Olive Tours" from Jerusalem to Ramallah and Betlehem and it was really nice to get an in-depth insight into the pallestianian view (https://www.toursinenglish.com/2007/11/back-roads-to-ramallah-from-jerusalem.html). And they're also doing tours to the dead sea, don't know if there are any other tour operators in Bethlehem...
