I am wondering if this is a smart move? Will this kill the value of the posters? The posters are incredibly large and I don't think I'd ever frame them unless they were trimmed. I know I should do what I want and get them on the wall, but I don't want to lose all potential resale value down the line. The posters in question are below. Any advice would be greatly appriciated!
Richard Prince - 33" X 55" - signed edition of 100
Roy Lichtenstein - 53 X 65" - edition of 50

On the Lichtenstein, you could frame it with a mat covering the text. I think the frame would cost a lot more than the poster is worth. But it would look pretty impressive at that size.

And governments! although when they say trim they mean something between slash and burn and scorched earth! Trimming these would destroy any future value pretty much.
