Pejac โข Linea Print, by barsukauk on Jul 24, 2016 12:36:14 GMT 1, That seems to be the accepted norm, though I do find it interesting. Being "person of colour" I find it odd that people will refer to themselves or their friends with a term ย i.e. N*&&er that is deemed derogatoryย when used by someone else, even of the same colour/origin. I guess tone and intent carries as much meaning than than the word itself... discuss Can we please get back to the ethics and morals of buying and selling art
Print is yours and you can do what you like with it! The one complening are do in the same, but the excuse is my car broke, need and extension, my wife don't like etc! They should get a live and let you sale the print and make you money. If you have been tiger you deserve it

Pejac โข Linea Print, by met on Jul 24, 2016 15:08:13 GMT 1, Just curious ...do negative names e.g. "Viva Hate" get more flaming than positive ones e.g. "Happygoluckychap"? Psychological studies shown that just reading negative words can affect our mood and physical capability, so it is a small step to suggest that we feel less well disposed towards a negative name. Flipping and flatmates aside (squashed or otherwise rendered 2 dimensional) , that is. Interesting question.
The complicating factor with your example is that 'Viva Hate' is not just a username but also a music reference. This muddies the water. For many who pick up on the reference, the name is unlikely to be seen as negative. On the contrary, it could easily evoke very fond memories.
---------
Leaving aside the tainting-by-association of an excellent album, what I find unfortunate about this thread is less the attempted flip than the use of a second forum account (aggravated, once exposed, by what comes across as dishonest claims in defence). It smacks of cowardice, which is among the more detestable traits.
Other than for extreme cases where anonymity may be justified, if you're going to do or say something contentious, then own it. Do or say it in your name.
Any temptation to have a "good-guy" forum account and a separate undisclosed "less-than-good-guy" account โ for re-selling or to write controversial posts โ should be resisted. It might make life easier, but it's deceitful. It's spineless. And not in a sexy way.
---------
On a more positive note, there follows the video for Viva Hate's second single, Everyday Is Like Sunday (deliberate spelling of "Everyday", or typo?) โ shot at Southend-on-Sea and featuring Lucette Henderson, the object of many a youthful crush.
[Henderson previously had a small part in the music video for Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before. That song was never released as a single in the UK due to its "And plan a mass murder" lyric, given sensitivity regarding a then-recent massacre. So, interestingly, its video was the same one used in the UK to promote I Started Something I Couldn't Finish.]
THERE IS STILL TIME . . BROTHER

Agrre with that. OP obviously knew flipping was uncool even though he was prepared to defend it later. As Met says, man up and get on with it. There's many on here who'd buy it, even as a blatant flip. You're not going to get an easy ride though. I'd be interested to know Met how spinelessness is a sex trait in some cases.

Pejac โข Linea Print, by agu on Jul 25, 2016 7:35:47 GMT 1, I'm surprised at all the fuss over what is, arguably, a very mediocre print. Good on you!
I respect people who are prepared to state their opinion that is counter to the prevailing group think. I would love to hear what it is that makes you feel this print is mediocre? I agree it does not have the visual impact of wound, or an obvious narrative like meadow, but ...
or am I just caught in the hype?

I am selling as new still with protective film over the print. If it's any sort of bonus for potential buyers it's a very low edition number (below 10)
Offers welcome.
