If not, in my opinion you should take it to eBay, as flipping recent releases should be discouraged on this forum. Perhaps that is no longer the popular opinion though.

It wasn't for cost. I was probably one of the "proxy" buyers.

That probably makes its worse? If helping out a fellow forum member pick up a print on release, isn't that normally done at cost? It has been when I have done it, including a very recent sought after release.

Worse indeed. I've helped several members get prints at cost as well. Unfortunately most people are only looking out for themselves and their bank account these days. It's his print, he can do what ever he wants with it.

Years ago I helped several people picking up prints for cost by queuing, but I stopped doing that after a couple of people flipped them shortly afterwards or users with very similar names on eBay did from here. So after that I have queued on the odd ocassion for people on here and they have paid extra for my time. These art queues always seem to cost a fortune in getting there - often involving an uber and then a few pints nearby, time off work, food etc. So, I think it's reasonable for someone to pay a premium for that and not pass those charges onto the person helping out, particularly as there's a chance that the print or book etc will be flipped by the person that hasn't even queued.

Pejac • Linea Print, by agu on Aug 14, 2016 20:22:10 GMT 1, I was out of town so I asked a friend (aka the art smurf) to queue and pic up a copy for me and agreed to pay her £100 for her efforts. After all that...the art police hates it. I gave her a few weeks to "re-evaluate" ...and she still hates it.
It also turns out the art the smurf is fundraising to take inner city school kids (from Mulberry School) to the beach and was planning to donate her "earnings" to the school. I'm alway keen to maximise a donation to a good cause, so rather than put it on the bay I thought I would make a proposal to the people of UAA.
The deal is you get the print for the cost + the smurf fee (i.e. cost to me) = £400
So I have skin in the game every extra pound you agree to pay over £400, I will match. So if you bid £500, the school get £300 (£100 from each of You, me and the smurf). Clear as mud. Just in case there are any millionaires out there I am capping my donation at £300.
Print is mint, protective cover still on. Number in the 60's....
Some pictures from this years trip! Dig Deep.
