Pejac • Linea Print, by Zanda on Mar 10, 2017 21:45:45 GMT 1, To Loobaz thank you for the evidence. That unsold didn't show up in my past sales search. I had just entered Pejac but I think your search was more specific. Ok so one didn't sell for £700 yet some have sold for significantly more. I also can bear in mind ebay fees as you previously brought up. I'm not statistician but if you do look at the expresso graph it's pretty clear which way things are going. I do think these are a good investment, but for personal reasons I'm letting this go now.

Funny that you plot points from 23/2-2017 to 23/6-2017 with a negative trend though.... you know something I (we) do not know? My bad. there was a rounding on last line item in excel. i have fixed it. it actually now looks mor edamning for your "upward" price pressure. All the data is on this chart so whats to deny? multiple photo upload it shows an u-shaped curve, typical for art-sale.
After the flippers manage to get some initial high prices from desperate buyers just after release, things relax and prices go down. Then, the "normal" market kicks inn, and prices start climbing (for popular artists such as Pejac that is).

the print doesn't sell for 700gbp. it just doesn't. Flip thats to a USD and the 25 data points make sense. super simple. Ok, now im actually moving on. I hope all my art prices with a smile goin forward!

Its not just ebay sales that are entered into the figures (which can be verified) members can input their own sales figures as well. Which cannot be verified.

My harrington transformer i just put up sells from 1800-2400. Very clear prints on EB just like this pejac. I said ill sell, best offer from 1800 or higher gets it. Not "well in 2 years its gonna be worth 5k so pay me 4k"

The reality is if it's 600-800 it's in that ballpark. We are talking 100£ poss 200 spread. Not exactly life changing amounts.
In addition to that had chance to meet another member, decent fella just what you'd expect and a quick chat about this and that. Hardly worth getting the excel out for.

If it is priced incorrectly, it won't sell.
By consistently bumping the thread, you are actually assisting the person you are protesting against.

I don't think in my case bumping has helped other than providing some light entertainment. It looks a mess, and if no one else, this has actually put me off my sale. I think I'll probably be better off hanging onto it anyway, I might even eventually be able to find some wall space for it.

Not at all. It's a forum, for discussing art. If you try to sell something, expect people to discuss the proposition. If you don't want them to, don't sell on a forum. OR list the sale in a different manner.

Of course you are free to post what you wish. But there is, and has been for a long time, a general concensus that you don't fuck up another members sale thread, with the exception of that member being dishonest or a blatant flipper. If you want to start a separate thread about the value of a particular print, do so.
