Im drawing reasonable conclusions about the future based on a long history of empirical evidence and suggesting IF people care about banksy in the distant future there will be authorized or semi-authorized reproductions of his work that the market as a whole will accept. And if banksy completely fades into obscurity then there likely will not, but no one will care.
Probably too early for you to say if you would or would not buy such a thing, but for me, Lichtenstein's are spendy so I would love to have a more affordable Whaam or As I opened fire. I just dont have a place to hang it. When i have a space for a tryp or dip like that im all over it. I am not comparing Banksy to Lichtenstein, because banksy does not have a long enough track record yet, but he has the potential.
and also invader is cool, and i like the new release and have the perfect spot for the blue i scored

Barring a death i would say there is a 100% chance of an authorized banksy print as direct release or through a museum in the next 35 years, and when you think about it estates do some funny things some times too. Does he sell canvasses to collectors?.
