Panic Attack - Art in the Punk Years, by Strange Al on Jun 6, 2007 12:41:39 GMT 1, "June 2007 marks two remarkable 30 year anniversaries: the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and the release of the Sex Pistols’ irreverent God Save the Queen with its infamous album cover by Jamie Reid . To coincide with these landmark events, Barbican Art Gallery is staging Panic Attack! Art in the Punk Years." The exhibition kicked off yesterday, for more details see: www.barbican.org.uk/artgallery/event-detail.asp?ID=4998
For Jamie Reid fans, also a quick reminder that Jamie is doing a special signing session on Friday 8th June between 5 and 7 at the Aquarium Gallery, 63 Farringdon Road, London. As well as giving a talk at the Barbican on the 9th June.

Panic Attack - Art in the Punk Years, by Strange Al on Jun 6, 2007 12:55:07 GMT 1, There's a special print for the evening, which is called "Up They Rise" and was originally part of the Surbarban Poster Book -
Edition of 100 numbered copies. 30.5 cm x 21 cm pigment print on 310gsm Satin Photo Rag paper. £30.00.
I would post a pic, but need to sort out my photobucket account.
That said, I've been to a couple of events where Jamie was signing prints and they both seemed to turn into a bit of a free for all. I'd be surprised if this one is any different.

Panic Attack - Art in the Punk Years, by corblimeylimey on Jun 6, 2007 17:09:14 GMT 1, I've just re-created a Nowhere Bus (saving me over £1000) I bought a copy of Pretty Vacant by the Sex Pistols on 7" vinyl pic sleeve, did a very high res scan of the buses, switched them from neg to pos and a little extra Photoshop work, and here it is.
It's going to be a giclee (large format inkjet) at 50cm square to fit into a Habitat dark birch frame.
I don't think Jamie is going to want to sign it. ;D

Always worth a try - take a camera and take a photo of him signing it for provenance

Panic Attack - Art in the Punk Years, by Strange Al on Jun 6, 2007 18:23:42 GMT 1, CBL - Why don't you take the 7" vinyl along and have him sign that? Then scan the signed version of the cover and make your poster from that.
You can always frame the 7" alongside the poster version.

Panic Attack - Art in the Punk Years, by Strange Al on Jun 9, 2007 17:46:17 GMT 1, Fiddy - I popped down last night. It was a really chilled affair and Jamie was signing various things and was very chatty. They had all of the pop editions out (£30 each), which you could ask him to sign. As well as plenty of other stuff.
I was good last night and didn't actually get anything. My pockets were empty and got a fair few Reid's in my collection already.
Some of the links you've posted would have been signed last night or on May 1 when he was also signing stuff. Though, fyi one of the links is to an item listed by Amuti, which is part of the aquarium gallery.
