When I bought my first Invasion kit I never thought it would be worth anything to anyone ever. The first piece of art I ever purchased was a framed signed Albino Invader from Outre Gallery in Sydney 10 years ago. I always thought I might be able to get 400/500 maybe for it one day if I got in a tight spot. Bug is a great Invader signed print with loads of upside $$$ |

Invader Binary Code, by disappointed on Aug 6, 2017 17:08:35 GMT 1, Apologies in advance for the poor pictures, it's a hard print to capture well and taking snaps under artificial light certainly did not help.
Titled Binary Code (White), this is an edition of 50, printed by Invader in 2008. There are also red and black variants, also editions of 50. I was the original purchaser and, as such, have the original e-mail order & shipping confirmation mai from orbi@space shop. The print is signed/doodled on the lower right and numbered on the lower left, both in pencil. The print measures 50cms x 70cms and is not to be confused with the much smaller Binary Bug print released as editions of 100 by Wooster Collective
The print is in mint condition although will benefit from a few weeks flattening as it has been stored in a tube for the last few years.
It's a cool, minimalist image that rewards closer inspection..
I'm unsure of where pricing is for Invader right now, let alone this specific print so would ask for offers in excess of £3500. Shipping would be additional and at buyer's expense. For convenience, as I am UK based, I would prefer a UK sale but that is not a hard line..

I don't think the price is that far off. I believe these were going for 1-1.25 when I was last looking over a year ago and we all know what happened since. It may be a little high, but that's what you do with invader as it's easier to discount something 500 than to find out you sold it 1k too low. A black may fetch closer to that number, followed by red (remember that idiot trying to sell his red on here for 7k lol) and then the white, although oddly, I quite prefer the white as it's subtle and different. Very cool print. It also falls into that category of non embossed, non shiny which are the prints that seem to have people going bonkers. The rubiks, binarys, etc have not kept pace with the home, space one, sanes. In any case great print and still kicking myself for being on a "non buying phase" when I saw one for like €1k 2 years ago. Oops. |

Invader prices have been on a pretty steady rise lately (last 6-9 months), so I think the price is about right. Wish I had the cash for it, it's a beauty! GLWTS

I've reduced the price by a decent percentage seeing as the love for Invader has fallen away but this remains a lovely example and is not often seen for sale.
