Was this actually a confirmed number? I find 2k total very unrealistic and hard to believe, but then again I know nothing about the shoe game. I do know that local retailers around the world are doing lotteries ect and I even got an email from a local shoe store doing one as well. Seems like if they were actually limited to 2k pairs each store would maybe get a pair with the amount being gifted ect. Are they numbered? |

The Jordan store on State Street & RSVP Gallery in Chicago are both receiving high allocation and Saint Alfred's, Chicago is receiving stock as well but the amount is unknown at this point.
KAWS/Jordan Brand have already distributed a few hundred pairs to family, friends and tastemakers over the past 5 weeks. KAWSONE will most likely receive a decent allocation as well. A good amount of retailers worldwide are receiving these - my instagram feed is filled with contest repost submissions and raffle entry details from several retailers.
Jordan Brand is infamous for projecting "limited" runs but the true limited runs are numbered i.e. Satin Bred J1, 2001 Royal J1, Premier J23, etc.
If these were numbered then I would believe only 2,000 were made but without the shoes being numbered in addition to the amount of stores receiving pairs I am assuming that they are making more than 2,000 pairs worldwide. Will it be almost impossible to get these at retail? Yes. I can see these reselling for 3.5k the day of release but they will steadily fall slightly above 2.2k over the next few months. But to assume that these will be valued around 10k is plain ridiculous.
