So far I've seen no mention of limits. If I could buy more just to be the art karma police, I would. But I'm poor right now and my credit card wouldnt allow for more than two anyway

If this thread was silent until after the release, the same amount of people would be F5ing and ebaying a sec later

Always done the same with gig tickets myself, I've never had the favour returned ever - not even once! As they say.. karma can be a real bitch! Lol!

I blame instagram for the pejac hype. It wasnt too bad around here, or maybe it was, but I didnt notice

I make fine art myself, so I certainly share your sentiments as well as the "overpriced poster" critique many others have expressed about rising print prices. However, the reality is that this print will immediately be resold for higher prices and this price is the lowest I could ever hope to pay for this print. Being an artist myself, I do appreciate that the high price is attached to the initial release so that at least the artist receives a bigger share of profits from the sale. If invader offered these at £300, they would be selling on the secondary market for at least £1500 within a few months. And he would see none of that money. if I'm going to overpay for print, I prefer to overpay the artist and not a secondary seller. I do wish he released them independently rather than through Laz. I'm sure laz decided how to price this print and is getting a large chunk of the profits as well. Edit: Also I said semi reasonable . Invader hype is so huge right now that I wouldnt be surprised if this print is £5k by next year. Imo, the style of it puts it among his best. Gonna suck for sure...especially living in the states basically gonna have to pull an all nighter just to wind up with nothing. So it goes. I too will offer the forum an extra @ cost as someone else mentioned if for some reason hell freezes over and I get em.
A wordpress templated site...sheesh, that is all you need to know. Will certainly crash and be a crap show. Does not even seem very responsive right now just playin around

I would have been thrilled if it was an edition of 500 at £300. It would weed out the flippers quite a bit and at least give the fans who like the piece an actual chance. My pocketbook would be happier too, because there is no way I plan to resell anytime in the foreseeable future, if ever.

I'll pass LED... I bought RVE and Scattercrow last month and had them framed (there is now a big black hole where my savings were); prefer these images more - both b/w - look great on the wall.
Small print? 50x70cm is huge for Invader. RVE 68cm x 88cm... Invasion Map Paris 100cm x 70cm... So, LED is not that quite huge. I'll pass LED... So if you have to click once or twice on the micro logo on the top right of the page > you're screwed
Then lucky ones that have bought on the new website and ticked the stripe button remember me will be the fastest ....
