So does this mean that you don't collect any UK releases? Of course I do but this drop is not like other drops. Most UK drops are possible because there is a specific time. I do not go for random drops like this. It is not worth my time or sleep tbh. Specific drop times/dates are how most releases are in which I collect what I like whenI know its coming. This drop is already a disaster. People who have never collected an invader piece should be allowed over previous collectors. That is what Nick Walker does and that is why I have mad respect for artists like that. If you have never collected a certain artist and buy his/her work, they give you the print over previous collectors if it over sold. Mad respect. |

Unfortunately the ones who get prints like this NEVER are the ones who have been waiting all day with no sleep because they were up 24 hours for something like this. All it takes is them going to take a piss and they missed it. |

I quite liked that - better than provoking a mad bunfight when they all go up at once, but not as good as a timed release. You just had to be persistent (and lucky).

It's just a matter of perspective I guess. I, for one, will try my luck and if acquired will frame and hang on my family room wall above the couch. I am blessed and grateful to be in a position to even try my luck on acquiring this print.

Once again for whatever reason, people like you decide to attempt to decipher peoples comments like there is a hidden message in it. Who said I want this print to flip it? Who said I have debt? I don't have any debt but thanks for trying to take what I said and make it about me even though this conversation is about potential US buyers. Not once have I flipped anything on here in the 4 years being on this board. Think i have successfully sold maybe 1 or 2 prints on here for either cost or market value. Hate to say this but 99% of the people going for this print are going to try and flip it. That is just common sense. Actual collectors who will frame this is the 1%. Why you say? Because his prices are dumb insane. If his value never went through the roof, the hype would not be like it is. Since I have never purchased an Invader before, buy and hang on the wall would be the ONLY reason to collect him for me. I have never had a successful chance to buy an invader. I tried to purchase a couple kits of his over time but never had a chance even when he had a release time/date with nothing random. Crashing pages (Which we all have grown a custom too), oversold with refunds etc. |

I can use the £1300 I'm saving and use it for something else I really want, like a caribbean holiday. I imagine most will feel similarly and the only people thirsty enough to try to get one that way are def flippers or really nutty invader fans.
Maybe enough will pop up on the bay right after the release that the flipper price is isnt much higher than the cost. Personally, I think it's priced to value and if it sells for more than £1500 on the secondary market, I'd be very surprised. However, I do think invader prices will continue to rise, so it is still a good investment piece for collectors. This is how it should be.

I'd be surprised if you find it for less than $6000 on ebay immediately afterward considering the edition size. |

You will get a couple folks pay triple at first as you saw with RVE which hit I think high $5K for the first two on ebay. One selling for $4,600 right now, thought I saw one go for $3K recently and one sold for $2,800. Others are sitting asking too much, if you're patient and it was some small fish trying to flip they will need to sell soon to get their money back. |

Firsly it was £ not $. Infact it might have even been euros.
Secondly i have a strong suspicion that the person who sold an RVE for that price, even in £ realised a bit later on and kicked their cat really hard.
