Invader LED Print, by davievegas on Aug 23, 2017 19:21:18 GMT 1, So does this mean that you don't collect any UK releases? Of course I do but this drop is not like other drops. Most UK drops are possible because there is a specific time. I do not go for random drops like this. It is not worth my time or sleep tbh. Specific drop times/dates are how most releases are in which I collect what I like whenI know its coming. This drop is already a disaster. People who have never collected an invader piece should be allowed over previous collectors. That is what Nick Walker does and that is why I have mad respect for artists like that. If you have never collected a certain artist and buy his/her work, they give you the print over previous collectors if it over sold. Mad respect.

Invader LED Print, by chevyav53 on Aug 23, 2017 19:26:56 GMT 1, Yes, the gallery in which it's being released is in BST, just simply convert it to your timezone. Why would it be more impossible for US buyers? Why? Well, I imagine not many in the US are going to stay up all damn night and day unless you do not work. This is just a nightmare for potential US buyers. This is normal for BST timezone buyers. They do not have to stay up all night and day and hit f5 100,000 times in hope it drops at some certain time. This is just insane to be honest. Another reason I have never collected Invader. The interest was never worth the reward. Getting this print will be like hitting the lottery sp to speak. IF Invader's prices were not going through the roof, this would not be an interest for most. Landing this print can pay off some debt to be honest. Getting this print in general is gonna be almost impossible. Potential US buyers have a better chance betting Conor Mcgregor beating Mayweather lol. Good thing I bet on Conor, maybe I have a chance at the Invader piece now.

Invader LED Print, by loother on Aug 23, 2017 19:30:29 GMT 1, Didn't the most recent invasion kit go up on his website a handful at a time, randomly spaced over a period of hours or even days? I quite liked that - better than provoking a mad bunfight when they all go up at once, but not as good as a timed release. You just had to be persistent (and lucky).

Invader LED Print, by sugar72 on Aug 23, 2017 19:36:44 GMT 1, I just find it really strange that you wouldn't get into an artist based on release times rather than the more important fact as to whether you actually like the artists style or not!!!

Laz mentioned it will be in the afternoon, earliest being noon BST which is 6AM central time... which is when I am up anyways. They also stated that they will release the drop time via social media so there isn't a need to be up hours before the drop if you're west of CST and concerned about sleep.
Furthermore, waiting in an air conditioned room, with a TV, smartphone, netflicks, coffee and snacks plus your hot wife/gf/bf laying beside you while you wait to purchase a print that can be (in your perspective) flipped to potentially rid yourself of debt sounds like a first world "problem" to be honest. It's just a matter of perspective I guess. I, for one, will try my luck and if acquired will frame and hang on my family room wall above the couch. I am blessed and grateful to be in a position to even try my luck on acquiring this print. Would you prefer a completely in-store release at Laz instead of online?

Once again for whatever reason, people like you decide to attempt to decipher peoples comments like there is a hidden message in it. Who said I want this print to flip it? Who said I have debt? I don't have any debt but thanks for trying to take what I said and make it about me even though this conversation is about potential US buyers. Not once have I flipped anything on here in the 4 years being on this board. Think i have successfully sold maybe 1 or 2 prints on here for either cost or market value. Hate to say this but 99% of the people going for this print are going to try and flip it. That is just common sense. Actual collectors who will frame this is the 1%. Why you say? Because his prices are dumb insane. If his value never went through the roof, the hype would not be like it is. Since I have never purchased an Invader before, buy and hang on the wall would be the ONLY reason to collect him for me. I have never had a successful chance to buy an invader. I tried to purchase a couple kits of his over time but never had a chance even when he had a release time/date with nothing random. Crashing pages (Which we all have grown a custom too), oversold with refunds etc.

This comment shows me you are emotionally detached to art or who you like to collect. You on the right board? You have been on this board about a year according to your join date so maybe this is all new to you. This board is all about art opinions/discussion. You obviously are not on the right board if you think art conversation is rare.

Not at all it just seems that every conversation you have on here is just full of bitterness. Just chill, no personal attack (unlike yours!). If you like the print you'll stay up . I obviously appreciate art more than you as my choices in art are not based on timezone releases. If I want to go for a piece I will and not whine on a forum.

Invader LED Print, by brycepen on Aug 23, 2017 20:29:11 GMT 1, I don't know how to set up 100 bots nor do I care to learn to pick up a print. I can use the £1300 I'm saving and use it for something else I really want, like a caribbean holiday. I imagine most will feel similarly and the only people thirsty enough to try to get one that way are def flippers or really nutty invader fans.
Maybe enough will pop up on the bay right after the release that the flipper price is isnt much higher than the cost. Personally, I think it's priced to value and if it sells for more than £1500 on the secondary market, I'd be very surprised. However, I do think invader prices will continue to rise, so it is still a good investment piece for collectors. This is how it should be.
I don't know how to set up 100 bots nor do I care to learn to pick up a print. I can use the £1300 I'm saving and use it for something else I really want, like a caribbean holiday. Would be great to think that`s the case, but this will be a 3-4k (GBP) print on the secondary, that`s just the way the Invader hype train has gone.
I am ready and primed for disappointment already

I'd be surprised if you find it for less than $6000 on ebay immediately afterward considering the edition size.

Invader LED Print, by brycepen on Aug 23, 2017 20:47:59 GMT 1, Most invader prints have a small edition size. Flippers might try and list this for double/triple the price, but they won't sell. Laz knows what its doing. They've most likely evaluated the market and priced the print accordingly. If you buy this for over 10% more than the release cost, you are overpaying.

Invader LED Print, by dmm8878 on Aug 23, 2017 20:56:04 GMT 1, I won't be able to even try for this tomorrow. Good luck all!
If anyone who does score is interested in trading for Invasion Kit #16 Flash Invaders, hit me up. It's still sealed in all the original packaging. Obtained directly from La Space Shop. I still have my email receipt from Orbi. I'm US based.

You will get a couple folks pay triple at first as you saw with RVE which hit I think high $5K for the first two on ebay. One selling for $4,600 right now, thought I saw one go for $3K recently and one sold for $2,800. Others are sitting asking too much, if you're patient and it was some small fish trying to flip they will need to sell soon to get their money back.

Infact it might have even been euros.
Secondly i have a strong suspicion that the person who sold an RVE for that price, even in £ realised a bit later on and kicked their cat really hard.
