Invader LED Print, by Deleted on Aug 24, 2017 14:57:18 GMT 1, Somewhere in between the replies you have recieved, to my recollection. In the early early days prints would not sell out immediately. Later, they sold out immediately, with lots of excitement/disappointment and long long threads like this one. Yeah, Banksy pieces would stick around for years on POW before selling out. I think around 2007-08 was when things went crazy and most of the top artists would have print releases that would sell out in just a few minutes. Yep, I used to sit there for several days pondering buying a POW Banksy signed print, Barcode, Bomb hugger, Golf Sal, even Laugh Now hung around for quite a while. Think Toxic Mary hung around the longest. Then when everything kicked off in 2007-08 I had already sold my whole collection to prop up my business, which closed, but that's all old hat, said it in a previous post.
It was all very civilised. The only drop I really remember, those days, selling out pretty quickly was the £100 sheets of Di-Faced tenners. I kept mine for as long as possible, I loved that damn thing. I sold it to pay a tax bills!

Invader LED Print, by Daniel Silk on Aug 24, 2017 14:57:43 GMT 1, Would this work? Imagine they buy a random domain name for each big print release, so everyone knows the gallery website would not actually be the domain to visit, and the release domain would only become known at the time of the release. That would easy traffic to the gallery site, and maybe make a release more reliable. What do you think?

They could also tweet the link so everyone gets it at the same time.

Fu#'ing huge ego and huge power trip for the owner, probably feels very very important right now, just sell the fu#'ing thing and move on to the next piece. (sorry for the negativity)

Invader LED Print, by Daniel Silk on Aug 24, 2017 15:12:05 GMT 1, I don't like the image, so I'm not interested in buying. If it have a white or coloured background it would be better, but I don't think his recent work is anywhere near as good as his early prints.

Invader LED Print, by Daniel Silk on Aug 24, 2017 15:14:45 GMT 1, If this was a bigger edition, how big do you think it could be and still sell out?
It's a very expensive print, but I would guess the edition could still be 300 or 400 and still sell out within an hour.
