Honestly you need to see the entire print up close and in-person before buying one these. At these price levels - you'll want to know if you purchased a cleaner one. Laz pulled a fast one, again, on everyone with this print. He didn't want spend money to do them correctly - so he just sold error ones and correct ones at the same price. Months later after the sale - he admits he made the mistakes and that's why the original release date was delayed. The demand was so hot - he / they didn't even bother to correct the mistakes and just sold all the prints at the same price. Laz has always been a somewhat sketchy fellow and this print - unfortunately it was done by him - and therefor also has so many issues to them. Clean Dots (full color dots)   Dirty Dots (dots not fully colored in, whites in dots)   Green and Blue Dots are dirty - check each dots on these prints.

Regarding dots. Its an edition of 100. Invader signed it off and numbered it.
Thats good enough for me, artist approved.

Not quite as bad as the missing blue thumb on banksy print - that ones doing ok.

If they have dirty dots donโt buy it, it will be an issue later on. Or at least ask for a price reduction.
This is why this print isnโt going for insane prices just yet. Half the print is made up from dots and if they are messed up... then it will bother them hell out of you after spending 10k on it.

Most artists don't mind the lil variation and will sign them without hesitation.

this is a non conversation and detracting. It is an amazing invader print, kept perfectly, framed perfectly and with full provenance. Is there a problem? If it is the price you and the other person have an issue with, just say it. Based on the conversations with others it seems to be about right with most offering ยฃ12,000.

Best of luck in your sale. Exactly this, screen printing has variance, itโs why itโs better than digital printing .. this is a great print at a great price. Good luck with the sale. Mine looks amazing, could not give a flying fuck if some dots are more complete that others. Hadnโt even crossed my mind that it could be seen as a flaw until this thread. |

You know the prints were stacked up with a corner out for invader to sign and he didnโt look at shit else except for edition 1. Donโt play people like the artist individually inspects every print prior to selling. He got paid a ton for signing paper, I may be wrong but Iโd say he didnโt look at the dots on all 100 prints (likely not 98 of them minus first and last maybe just maybe). Donโt care if from 10 feet away it looks good if that were mine Iโd try and resell it at a profit for sure too. Good luck

Most artists don't mind the lil variation and will sign them without hesitation. They're multiples. Calling them dirty is stupid. Most times this is true. After you spend 10k on this... and find out there are better ones then letโs talk. I bet people wonโt like the idea of buying a 10k print with massive errors when there are clean ones out there. There is a reason why you donโt find the clean one offered too much. Also right after the release - some without the errors showed up here and on galleries... those went super quick for a reason.
i understand you sir. I mean I thought to this during the night. Itโs true that I have received some edition ( anyway it was mentioned - about different version or batch - on the website ) of L13, par example as I like them, not much expensive and I was really deceived by the version that I got : Cauty one was a yellow one ( mine is orange/green one ) and the pink rat by not not Banksy was really pink, as a Barbie.
So I could understand that in the printing and finition/edition for expensive prints, you would like to receive a great one as in the photo and not a different one as your neighbor.,,
