You know the prints were stacked up with a corner out for invader to sign and he didnโt look at shit else except for edition 1. Donโt play people like the artist individually inspects every print prior to selling. He got paid a ton for signing paper, I may be wrong but Iโd say he didnโt look at the dots on all 100 prints (likely not 98 of them minus first and last maybe just maybe). Donโt care if from 10 feet away it looks good if that were mine Iโd try and resell it at a profit for sure too. Good luck

The main edition is supposed to match the final proof. Artist give a cursory glance at the first couple when signing, but otherwise, unless they're to be hand finished, then it's head down and focus on that corner. |

Its like me being worried about the blue thumb on banksy stop and search , then i take a step back and realise i am worrying about a blue thumb which banksy must have missed as well, but did not care as its fine. He was so busy signing 500 of them and being given so much money to give a shit by this reasoning.
It is a non issue, part of 90% of this run and does not affect the image at all. Infact from what ive seen, those with it on are very minor when zoomed in and only on a few dots, not the whole lot. I doubt any of the above have had one in person to realise this and are looking at it through an out of context microscope.

At retail... sure you are lucky to get anything but at these resell prices you better know what you are getting. If they have dirty dots donโt buy it, it will be an issue later on. Or at least ask for a price reduction. This is why this print isnโt going for insane prices just yet. Half the print is made up from dots and if they are messed up... then it will bother them hell out of you after spending 10k on it. Most donโt know this issues until after they buy this print. Trust me you donโt want to be one of these people. Especially knowing some were done perfectly and many were done with tons of errors. You will want the perfect ones at these prices. I know people who have ones with mistakes are pissed that Im posting this but for buyers they need to be careful at these prices. Sorry for that. You would want to know this information as well if you were the buyers. The owners of cleaner ones should be happy and always point this out though. The value should be different - like any collectible - mistakes can bring a change in value. Side note - Donโt own one, think itโs his best print - in terms of idea, but probably I would never buy one due all these issues - bigger invader collectors know of these issues. great intel as i had no idea there was an issue..... albeit minor, itโs still something worth note, especially if i have ocd i doubt u could hang the โdirtyโ ones.... hereโs me standing in front of the original at BTS brooklyn๐

Having said that, I was buying a print at a show where the artist had painted the walls etc. While signing them the artist got some of the paint, not much at all just a drip on the print I wanted. They offered me a โcleanโ print.
I was more than happy to have the one with the paint as it as it added to the story of when and where and made it feel more special to me.

When the image is clean there should be no issue |
