Yes, it does. Because of movies like Jaws people are scared of sharks.
So they don't care or are even happy when they are being killed to extinction.
Sharks are crucial to the eco system and beautiful animals.

There are more people killed by making selfies then by sharks. On avarage 5 people a year.
And that's because people go into their habitat. They don't sneak into your bedroom.....

This stupid b**ch tries to demonize sharks for her own fame.
And people think : See, it's good they are being killed. Sharks are dangerous.

100.000.000 sharks are killed. Every year.

So these will be the last sharks for now, since I ran out of paint and there is not a shop in town with grey paint anymore.....

I bought one of the sharks on cardboard and they are really sweet ...has a raw feel and look to it ..came with a really nice blown up shark photo as well ...very pleased with the purchase ...it's in the line for framer

So today my long awaited banknotes arrived - thanks for redbirds to leading me to these.
I actually had another one in mind which will follow shortly.

I do use silver paint on the Thresher Sharks, since they are quite silver coloured.
The Lemon shark is very grey and the Oceanic actually is a bit brown/green on the back.
So I aim to get close to the original.

And indeed I try to make them a bit translucent, to show their vulnerability.
But the explanation that they are disappearing is also a good one - hadn't thought of that.
Actually quite cool people see different things in them. Almost as if I was making art!

I also like it that the background comes through, since that is what's telling the story.
My goal is just to paint the shark and the cardboard, menu or banknote sends the message.

Transluceny makes the sharks less bulky and colours blend in a bit more.
Especially on the banknotes the stencils are so tiny it's difficult to dose the spraying.
Less is more. Too much paint makes them look like "colour by numbers" quite fast.
