Kind of like a price guide for prints. I noticed today that they added a bunch of banksy prints. If you guys could add auctions from ebay when you see em. It will keep a log of all past sales. Great tidy place for info.

I love art, I also own a lot of art and I only buy art that I like, not for capital appreciation, but at the end of the day good/limited/rear art has the potential to become a valuable commodity.
Its simple, a lot people want a Banksy = demand = the higher the demand = the higher the value = on disposal of your Banksy you will not take less than ยฃ600 and for a rear one ยฃ5000+.
Now as I said before you cannot find me one person who would go against the above and under sell their Banksy because of as you say the "LOVE OF ART"
Find me anywhere someone who has sold a signed Banksy for the price of the same unsigned version, for example signed Banksy Love Rat ยฃ2000+ / unsigned Banksy Love Rat ยฃ600. Person decide because of "THE LOVE OF ART", they are prepared to sell their signed Banksy Love Rat, for the the price of an unsigned one. I DON'T THINK SO......

Knowing how much I liked the work, someone (you know who you are) recently sold me a copy of Flags for half it's current ebay price. So I'm affraid your moral code doesn't extend to everyone.. There's still a certain amount of honour amongst collectors, especially ones who have been collecting for a while and dealing with each other, there's a massively underestimated social side of dealing with Banksy and his network of fans and collectors.. and I supsect due to the content of the work, that many who buy it generally have a more honest and open approach to the "biznizz" of art than those who collect "contemporary" art in general.. so yes, in some cases people do sell and trade for less than current market value..

Got it. Thanks for the respect, and thanks for the tip. As you can see, I listen carefully, and am already taking action on your advice with a new post! But this isn't just some vainglorious attempt at earning my lietenant's rank, I actually have something to say.
And that is, there are only a handful (OK, more like 10,000 or so, give or take a few) of the genuine ENRON certificates that are nearly *guarnateed* to appreciate from their current value. If there are no owners of a Flying Copper or Grin Reaper who can see the value here, then anybody who needs paper for personal hygene uses could find none better! And think of the chuckles you'll have every time you wipe your ass with stocks!

RE: Expressobeans--This site is *extremely* useful for those of us who are Obey/Giant fans, but that is primarily because of the volume of prints in existence and being traded. It might not be quite as useful for Banksy, but what the hell--considering that as of right now the best resource seems to be ebay historical sales data, pretty much anything else is an improvement.
