Quick VNA update - Issue 34 is just being finalised and should be out later summer, it's been delayed due to some new family members arriving in the VNA team and us trying to secure a couple of killer interviews.
I'll update this thread as things get locked in and of course given some sneak peeks at content.

For example Harrington has what like 10 prints?! But only 4 were screen prints, including the VNA but value doesn't reflect that fact.. Eine VNA looks smashing and fits with his style yet value doesn't reflect it... Invader has one with an actual Invader on it yet again value is miles away from its comparatives..
So is it because it's on a magazine? If so what about all the prints done on cardboard and other bits and bobs?
Can anyone enlighten me so??
By the way not looking to sell any but do have a vested interest as I have like 6 of these (6 keepers in my eyes)

VNA Magazine, by kember on Aug 17, 2016 14:03:05 GMT 1, I'd say it's a combination of a few things, but yeah mainly that it's a magazine, it won't remain timeless, it's content will become outdated, it's easily damaged and hard to frame, it's not really comparable to a print on say, reclaimed cardboard, or a piece of aluminium - that item becomes a single work of art unto itself.
Aside from that, a lot of the VNA stuff comes as a set, which sort of bunches it together with collectables (toys, sculptures etc) rather than art people put on the wall.

Just as a note I usually buy a reg version of the mag anyway in store and read that one and try buy the LE seperately for the art and not to read..

I got the Swoon LE cover which is (partly) silksreened, and my version is even pencil signed on the front. I consider that to be pretty close to a print too. One of the best things I ever won. In particular the Paul Insect, Invader (especially the envelope), Vhils, Swoon and Retna ones are excellent.
