For the money (a lot less money) I would go for the good Dr Plip and have a witty original.

Good thing is that I would never put that on my wall so I don't care about the price! :-)
Overall few exciting new things at the OPF ( or is it me? )

David Shrigley โข Another Task For You, by Sturban Has Saggy Tits on May 6, 2017 11:56:52 GMT 1, I was thinking about going to the print fair tomorow, but just wondered if it's worth going to as it's about 1.5 hours trek for me. Is it just galleries selling off their stock or is there any live printing etc going on?

The Shrigley is fun and its a great blue....plus, I have had to dive down to recover overboard sunglasses on a few occasions....but couldn't buy it at the higher price! I believe the Ruscha was only 4k for the resale and preview night (first 20 prints) and then went to 5,250, then going up a little more. Its a grower....

David Shrigley โข Another Task For You, by thisisit on May 6, 2017 14:17:09 GMT 1, Talking of Ed Ruscha, has anyone been to the American Dream exhibition at the British museum and if so would you recommend it? So its good to note that the exhibition is only exhibiting printed editions. Having said that, it has some of the most expensive american editions today. It was very easy to navigate and understand the curation of the space and get a feel of everything with out having to read to much. (always enjoy that with exhibitions) I did feel like the entrance fee was bit high, but i guess if the subject interests you, you pay.
i would give it a 6.9/10. definitely some prints worth seeing in person.
