Agree. The only ones currently I get is the 150 series and now look out for earlier prints pre 2010 on secondary market

I've lost prints that were in my cart in the past. But that may have been due to the site being overwhelmed and not being able to check up within the time limit. Best to get through checkout as quick as possible.
That said, I don't think there will be a huge demand for these. But I could be wrong.

New Faile print May , by kapow on May 10, 2017 16:41:09 GMT 1, I recently spoke to a screenprinter with experience of using FedEx, and he told me that if you refuse to pay, they pass the bill back to the sender. Not such a big deal with Faile, but probably more painful for smaller printers or artists. Gosh! I didn't know that. I have never sent anything with FedEx but unless its specifically in the contract then they cannot do that either. Might be worth advising that person to check the contract.
Fair point... I'll let him know!

New Faile print May , by dani on May 10, 2017 17:04:12 GMT 1, On the Faile site, if you cart a print does that mean you have it, or do you still have to rush through the checkout process? According to the print listing, it is reserved during the checkout process:
"Product availability will only be secured once you start the checkout process. If the checkout screen displays an item as sold out, you may try again in a few minutes as other active carts may have expired. Once the item is no longer available, this page will display Sold Out."

You like the image to frame it? to me it seems like a good deal, 350$ gets you top notch big size screenprint by some of the most respected artists in the urban/street art scene. In a day and age where random ass artists can charge you the same price for a 18x24 giclee, i think art lovers/collectors are winners

Not good at all for collector's, driving down the market of early releases Again, good for collectors. And by collectors, I only mean those who want to own the image and put it on their wall. I couldn't care less about resale value. Not why I buy art.

New Faile print May , by davievegas on May 10, 2017 17:51:30 GMT 1, This boys are releasing far to many prints in my mind , saturating the market. Shame as they use to release great prints in small editions Unfortunately this is why failes value does not do well anymore. High print editions with saturation makes for a lethal combo. If you buy art just to buy art then great but most people buy art with the hope of value going up in the future. I own 4 faile prints and the prints are between 2-5 years old and the value has either stayed the same or dropped. Every new release the prints tend to take longer and longer to sell out now a days. Shame. Best to own there low edition prints or originals now a days. In my opinion all failes work the past couple years have been looking the same. Auction results are hit or miss with them as well. Nothing consistent. Same type of "girl" on a lot of the prints and I already have 2 out of 4 with the girl image. Tired of it even if the quality is great and looks nice on the walls.

New Faile print May , by WOOF on May 10, 2017 18:25:22 GMT 1, You guys are funny when it comes to your speculation. Making lots of prints does not harm nor does it help an artist long term. Don't believe me? It's believed that picasso has upwards of 180k prints in circulation. He's not the only one either. In fact, one might argue that being prolific is a must if you're going to be a successful artist.
And also, someone made a comment about how the prints take longer to sell out. Again, a quick sell out doesn't make a good artist in the way that a slower sell out doesn't make a bad artist. And if you think quick sell outs matter and invest in that way, you might learn that the hard way. You know who has had quick sell outs on here? Eyesaw. Tabby. Other names that maybe 100 people outside of this forum have heard of. As far as I can tell, sell outs mean nothing and slow sales mean nothing. But I'm happy to listen if someone wants to counter that...
[small edit: picasso made 180k prints, not 80k]

I am a faile fan so a bit of rose tinted specs going on but I logged on thinking it would be gone and low and behold there were prints left so absolutely chuffed managed to pick one up - my first block print. Cant wait for it to arrive will be going to the framer with my three latest 150s and my subrossa. Will stick up some pics when framed.
