Where is "For the Love of God", by Octopus UK on Jul 5, 2007 9:52:54 GMT 1, I'm hoping to catch Damien Hirst's Beyong Belief exhibition before it closes this Saturday. Can someone please tell me where the diamond skull is exhibited, at Hoxton Square or at Masons Yard? Thanks.

Where is "For the Love of God", by Octopus UK on Jul 5, 2007 12:58:06 GMT 1, Thanks. I am a bit worried because it is close to the end of the exhibition (last minute rush?) and there are no web bookable tickets available.

Where is "For the Love of God", by grasshopper on Jul 5, 2007 16:00:29 GMT 1, I just went to white cube today @ 14.00, wasn't more than a 10 min wait, for a 3 min viewing. worth the visit, v.shiny and sparkly... and if you're into architecture the building itself is pretty nice.

i wasnt a fan of the red/pink things, were they cancer cells?
pretty cool exhibition, made me think. its clever

Where is "For the Love of God", by reados on Jul 5, 2007 18:44:58 GMT 1, its worth a look but i thought the whole thing was a load of crap, whats the point of a photorealistic painting of an operating theatre, I might be wrong but i dont think he actuallly painted them himself, last year an artist at the degree show in falmouth did the same thing but painted it int the style of one of the old masters that was far more impressive, this was no different to the getting canvases printed of your favourite snaps in the back of the next directory. The animals cut in half were worth a look but it felt the same as walking round the natural history museum. The skull, was more specticle than anything else, his stuff provokes a reaction, but so does someone farting in a quiet room. ;D
If your in london and want to see something really good go and see the bp portrait awards at the national portrait gallery, very impressive in portraits in all sorts of styles, inspiration to any budding artist.
