Conor Harrington Modern Monarchy (SOLD), by Nick on Jun 1, 2017 15:36:11 GMT 1, Pricing is spot on, these were available from laz until a few months ago at £1700 and I have recently been offered an AP for 10% more than this. It's a beautiful print but unlike the recent releases this is a Giclee with silkscreen varnish
edit: could potentially be the light but there also seems to be quite a bit of creasing to the top right, OP you should probably detail this.

Conor Harrington Modern Monarchy (SOLD), by Deleted on Jun 1, 2017 16:17:51 GMT 1, Giclee or not this is his best print. I have a lot of Conor's and this is just striking.. it's £3250 at hang up. I wouldn't sell mine for £2000 and was someone who paid £1700 from laz

Laz weren't actually advertising it for sale. They had a couple left back that they sold when contacted. All of the Conor prints I've bought in the last few months have increased around 20% from my purchase price.. hang up price obviously too high

Conor Harrington Modern Monarchy (SOLD), by ca on Jun 1, 2017 16:46:00 GMT 1, I always love those comments/debate about a prints value vs the technique that was used (giclee vs screenprint). IMO when you're starting to pay 2-3-4k & more for a print, surely you're not paying for the technique but much more for the image and the artist's reputation. I'm sure Banksy's prints would be worth the same if they were giclees, especially when you're dealing with top of the line printing

Most people (on here) know that Laz still have Harrington prints if you contact them. It's more the variation in price, if Laz had them at 1700 two months ago and now a member is selling at 2000 and a gallery is charging 3250. The value being placing on work by different people in the market seems to be pick a figure! If it's taken Laz around over 5 years to sell 125 prints at prices between 350 - 1700. you could argue that 1700 is too much.

Conor Harrington Modern Monarchy (SOLD), by Deleted on Jun 1, 2017 17:08:32 GMT 1, It's the giclee problem. Why anyone would care how a print is mass produced is beyond me. But it has a huge effect. In 5 years MM will be very valuable. It's epic

I think it's a nice print, but arguably the worst of the Dead Meat series of prints.

That has to be a first, everyone's entitled to their opinion though and good thing for you, most of the market doesnt agree and you can grab the others from that series close to retail

Either I am out of touch, or you are talking out your ass. Please point me to where I can buy the rest of the series at retail (i.e. cost) price:
Fight Club - £1,000 WWWK - £950 Tardis of Delight - £375

And they are his least desirable prints. Conor's value slowly rises though. His talent is huge

Conor Harrington Modern Monarchy (SOLD), by curain on Jun 4, 2017 17:09:54 GMT 1, I doubt one would have an easy time finding MM below £2000 these days. I've participated in two private offers in recent months bidding £2200 each time and didn't get either one.
Still my favorite Harrington - great image!
