All gifts have a resale value and so how are they going to enforce the resale aspect? There are people already asking for the print on the wanted Banksy thread!! And they will be offering money and people will be flipping these.

Its not like people want to, they just think that maybe they should vote for conservative. (if thats what they are voting for.)
Also i can see how many people would not have voted coz both parties in the lead are bad in different ways.

I do think that if this was a nationwide offer and this was treated as a numbered edition of however many wanted to submit their vote.

Well I am glad to say that the people I know have a few more scruples than that and have the maturity to base their decision on one of the most important votes on real decisions rather than on a very clever bit of PR

its a weird one as banksy usually is very classy in how he delivers a message or supports a cause.
This is verging on classless.
Law aside - as banksy has never paid attention to that anyway - he could land some honest law abiding people in real trouble at the polling stations just because they want a free poster and whom may have voted labour anyway.
He should understand the rules more than anyone considering his wife is a Labour parliamentary lobbyist.
On a side note, noticed a few of the regular banksy instagram supporters have turned off comments for their post on this matter - they know its wrong as well.

Law aside - as banksy has never paid attention to that anyway - he could land some honest law abiding people in real trouble at the polling stations just because they want a free poster and whom may have voted labour anyway.
He should understand the rules more than anyone considering his wife is a Labour parliamentary lobbyist.
On a side note, noticed a few of the regular banksy instagram supporters have turned off comments for their post on this matter - they know its wrong as well.

Makes me think this was all just rushed together in a few hours with the image patched together and the legality not thought through. |
