Shepard Fairey print FLIPPERS, by Lroy on Jun 16, 2017 6:43:09 GMT 1, The amount of misinformation and conspiracy theories in here is hysterical. why ? Aren't you parano ? Where do you see any conspiracy ?! Anyway, yes prints are reserved. For the Eave, only 200 onthr 450 were in fact in real sale ! Just my experience : we all want obey prints at the beginning, ( and I paid for it on eBay ) but when you have them you don't like them so much a year passed, in fact you don't care. They don't rake value in the heart and in the walker, at the contrary . " hysterical " are the buyers. These prints are such a commerce, such a hype at each drop, that we have the impression to buy a brand are fir the clothes, etc ... obeyis a TRUST now, and the man denounces the trust, and make money with protest and sad events, how to trust Shepard Fairey ?! So don't insult the fans and those who has given their money at random or in EBay ?! Why - and I will finish - he does not bloke - he told that he would do it Lol - all these companies, galeries, flippers on EBay For the next drop ?! Why he does not try to make another - and real - system to buy on line, much fait ?! With a list before, a lottery etc .... Anyway as I read , apart for the Great America , he does not care about Europeans and to buy a print at the end costs a fortune ( for a big tirage ) I understand the angryness of the man that has wrote this thread : we have all been fucked too . HypocrisyI to resume Obey clothes, merchandising , prints. And he abuses of the youths fashion ! We have to denounce this market as other markets of course.
Ps : why this S.F per example did not reserved the Libertรฉ รgalitรฉ etc .. for French and/or European ? Yes why ?! Why they are in American walls ? How do people from America could understand the real messsge ? the wall is in Paris.
" Iโm with the people of Paris, in spirit and in body, in this most difficult time. Iโm happy to be unveiling a project that addresses something that affects all of humanity and the entire planet. It will be revealed tomorrow, Friday, November 20th, 2015.
In solidarity with Parisians and all of humanity,
Shepard Fairey "
Don't become what you denounce or have denounced Shepard. You are not the people of Paris .

Saying that I'm still looking for a Spirit of Independence print from a few weeks ago if anyone has one, can trade for other Obeys.

I read the whole thread based on your post, and I completely agree... a whole lot of stupid in this thread why ? Aren't you parano ? Where do you see any conspiracy ?! Anyway, yes prints are reserved. For the Eave, only 200 onthr 450 were in fact in real sale ! You have no idea what you are talking about. General print releases are NOT reserved, half do not go to galleries and the majority are sold at each drop. There are however some cases where a print is made specifically for a show or event and some are sold online and some in person. Instead of complaining, read what soupysound posted. If you really care about collecting obey prints then you will figure out a way to increase your odds in scoring from the source: lets correct some info here: (1) "bots" are not illegal. ย that was specifically for ticket scalping. (2) high demand drops sell out fast. ย it's not a big conspiracy of bots so take off the tinfoil hat (3) if you want to score, learn how to checkout fast (as another has said.... 10 seconds can be an eternity when thousands of people are trying for an edition of hundreds). (4) fairey has done A LOT to curb flipping or dissuade it but there's only so much in their power to do (5) this is NOT the first time a captcha was used. ย OBEY has been using them for "higher" demand drops. I'd also like to add that there's no such thing as "data delay." People can experience network delays, ISP caching, browser caching, etc but to suggest people in the US have any kind of advantage because they see the products in advance due to a delay because they are located closer to the servers is nonsense. lol, you too, you don't know ! Are you the world officer enquรฉrir reference ? Did you want m to name 5 launch and 5 galleries or street-art shopping website , keeping me items before the sale and sending me after the rush ?! So ... I know Everybody know that I know I am honest that's all. It's not a legend ! Lol !!!!

Shep has a massive profile, exposure and a huge worldwide following. There is a massive appetite for his work despite the continuous and sometimes questionable quality prints.

Everybody like Shepard as Gelatti for ice-cream ( Idont ) ... The vintage side in the colors and subjects helps a lot.

Shepard Fairey print FLIPPERS, by chainsaw on Jun 17, 2017 14:54:27 GMT 1, Are there plenty of unsigned, unlimited print versions available?
Normal everyday prints, where people can get a copy of the image that they love straight from the artist (or their representative) as a poster type image months after the limited runs are sold out?
If you like the image perhaps this would satisfy ownership, kill any secondary forgery market and put money in the artists hands to do as they wish, rather than forgers.
I know I can't afford a ยฃ1500 limited print from some of the stunning works out there. However I would prefer that money from a purchase of a copy, that I might buy, to go to the artist. Originals/limited prints value shouldn't be effected much.
Even photos of street art, sold as prints by the original artist. They would own copyright on the photos.
Just a crazy idea from someone who appreciates the images that all the effort goes into. How many students had a Dali print on their wall?

Did the seller add postage value to declared value?
Then admin fee gets added by the carrier, i have seen this as ยฃ8 to ยฃ18 depending on carrier.
