I wrote to them and asked them to put on the HS tariff code Limited edition Prints 9702.00.0090 This should bring it to 5% only...but who knows??? I asked them if they could add this code to ALL UK orders...but you may wish to check ..?? Jill and Jordan there at ULAE sound like they're really on it!!!
Mine had the code 970200 US on it and I was charged ยฃ31.68 !!

I then had a couple of updates, one to say they left the states and another when processed/arrived in London.
Received a card in the post from Royal Mail today as they are being held with duty to pay.
I ordered mine I think the day after the original post was up

$150 = ยฃ116 (rough exchange rate) x 5% = ยฃ5.80 + ยฃ8 handling charge = ยฃ13.80
If you have been charged ยฃ31 they've calculated it at a 20% rate without the shipping charges. If you've been charged ยฃ35 they've calculated it at 20% and have included the shipping charges.

I was responding to a more general point.
Most of the import VAT problems stem from both galleries and artists not using the correct codes, regardless of value. That's why so many fall foul to 20%..... these JJ's may still be worth a go. I've had a couple go under the refund radar and get 15% back.....worth a go!
