Unfortunately, there seems to be numerous threads where owners have chimed in saying things like 'these are easily worth £20k,' which may have influenced your valuation. The black and red is still desirable as it’s the “original” one.
You probably will have better luck selling your rve and then using the proceeds to buy a black/red alert. The likelihood that one of the 60 who owns this alert print will agree to your offer is low.
