Parra No Work Today Print, by avec art on Jul 13, 2017 16:49:46 GMT 1, This is a screen print I have been working on for an upcoming release. I want to show an example of where a fairly obvious overlapping area has been chosen for preference over small white gaps of miss-registration.
The 5 colour screen print, is created by building up layers on top of one another, for a visually tight overall finish. But around the ear the purple overlaps the green background. This was decided as an acceptable solution, as the purple colour required is quite transparent. Same as for the bright red face with the main edition.
For me it is better than trying to get exact registration, which would result in a white gap around the ear which would be too stark and distracting. The only white you see is for Manet's shirt, which is actually the colour of the paper, similar to how Parra utilises the white of the paper. So in a way it is a 6 colour print.

If anybody else who has previously posted in this thread wants mine with the screen registration issue at cost+shipping+fees, then speak up and i'll do a random number generator to pick.
So to be clear -
Only for those that have previously posted that they never got one up to 17/7/17.
If you have got one since then be honest and don't ask for it please.
I've checked all the posts and noted the ones who never got one and also any messages that have been edited, so don't be fly and re-edit your post after the fact as you will be ineligible.
I'll let it run for a few days and if no takers, i'll offer it up to everyone else before selling it elsewhere.
