Pejac - Scattercrow print, by WOOF on Jul 10, 2017 18:31:32 GMT 1, Not surprised at the price hike. In line with values and the artists profile. Hopefully this'll reduce the flippers but I doubt it. With respect, what profile are you referring to? Pejac doesn't have a CV on his site, and I've never heard of any major galleries having a pejac show, nor have I heard of any important collections adding a piece of his work. So are we just talking about his profile on here and ebay?

There's never been that many pieces that have came up for sale and all the ones that have, don't seem to be being resold thankfully.
Only way is up for him IMO.

Not to be a cynic, but anyone can put up some cash and do a pop up gallery. And even if the whole show sells out and 1000 people show up, it doesn't mean they're doing anything right.
To your second point, art being resold is actually somewhat essential to an artists longevity. It keeps their work in the spotlight.
I like his work, and I hope you're right that he continues to get bigger (disclosure: i own 0 works by Pejac) but I think people are riding the hype train pretty hard on this one without much to back it up. That said, I'm happy to be proven wrong...

Hype? There is an element of that but deserved and far more deservingvthan a lot is stuff here! I.e invader

That said, I'm happy to be proven wrong... I agree that anyone can do it but most don't, as they need the power of an established gallery to promote them. I think they done pretty well on their own:)
Also agree. The more works created and shows he does will loosen some up for the aftermarket i'm sure. Some of his prints and one OG are all i've seen sold at auctions so far but obviously that will change with time.
To me his work speaks for itself and he's by far my favourite artist. After I saw Meadow I done everything I could to try and find out more about his work. Nobody else has made me do that to date although I hope to find some new and exciting artists who move me so in the future.
I own a few btw but i'm not hyping. If I could get the price down for his pieces I would be happy with that as it will help me buy more!

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by vei on Jul 10, 2017 19:15:54 GMT 1, Good luck for those going for this. For me it's his weakest print, the image doesn't resonate with me at all. At that price I don't think theres any juice left in for the flippers so should be going to the right people. Anyone have an opinion on the meaning? The word "juice" is perfectly chosen ahah As the crows are LEAVING the body, i'd say that time of humans is near to his end to let the planet and animals take over Just my opinion though
I'd say that it was a promotional poster for the movie Jeepers Creepers

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by Young Squire on Jul 10, 2017 19:18:42 GMT 1, I think the rehash of Esparcepajaros is darn beautiful BUT was hoping for Tsunami or something with some colour. And was thinking more €500 for his next print! Can understand the pricing as his prints have risen in price dramatically over the past 6 months. Also, the size...the siiiiize!! ££££££ said the frame man. Bottom line is it's a fantastic print, right up there, and I'll be ready at the F5 on Friday. Go hand finished if you want some colour

Pejac - Scattercrow print, by kapusta on Jul 10, 2017 19:26:16 GMT 1, For such a clever artist, this image is underwhelming. If any other artist released this, I don't think people would be clamoring over it. It feels familiar, like I've seen it on Behance or Deviantart.
I'm sure the print quality will look amazing though.
