This is for the older fans of Kaws work that love his Ad Disruption years. This is an Original "Studio Baby" from 2000. It comes framed fantastically showing Kaws' signature on the back. Any ORIGINAL Kaws work at this point is extremely rare and hard to come by. This is an amazing piece for a fantastic price to get a piece of Original Kaws into your collection.

Early originals are very rare and I loved having them on my wall, but the desirability of the crying baby image was a bit of a stumbling block when I was selling them. Also Phillips sold a magazine disruption a few months back for $22.5k which is a bit bigger than this and it featured Pamela Anderson which is arguably a more desirable image.
I have owned (and sold) a few of these myself. That they own it, and have the right to control its future trajectory and contents โ including whether or not other people choose to contribute as and when they see fit.
Such forum members are under a misapprehension.
I suspect patience is key when dealing with them. They just need more time to learn, since they haven't yet fully grasped the very nature of a public message board.

Didn't know popular artist's works stayed the same price year after year. Why do you guys keep paying more and more for prints of series just signed and numbered by an artist? It's funny you guys have such a problem with what someone asks for a piece that isn't up your alley. You get to tell people what they should like in a piece of art? Grow up.
