You have some really nice pieces there for very reasonable prices. Good luck with the sale...and parenthood!!

Someone help please as to how I can handle this. I transferred the money via PayPal.
Thanks,

If you sent the money through Paypal as a gift then unfortunately there is nothing they will do for you. If you paid the Paypal service fee then your money is guaranteed and you can file a claim with them.

I tracked the seller down from his job and he was suppose to meet tonight but not to my surprise, he failed to meet. Its sad that someone would be ok wasting people's times and it appears he is attempting to steal my money. He claimed he would paypal me back my money which he never did. I woudl not trust this seller.

I had to file an eBay claim before the seller finally met up with me in what I can only describe as an "awkward" transaction.
In the end I got the piece I paid for, but it was a bit of a struggle and others had to file eBay claims as well.
Sorry to hear about it

D*Face, Harrington, Dolk, Faile, Beejoir, Hush, by Anthony Styles on Aug 8, 2017 11:46:39 GMT 1, Sad to hear of more potential scammers lurking. It seems number of posts may not be a suitable indication of trust.
Some of us do not get the time to post regularly such as myself however have completed many positive transactions on UAA.
The real issue here is that this is a forum not a selling platform. Hence why the usual functionality is not in place to help protect those making deals.
The functionality can be added with a little tweaking.
Daniel Silk - take a look at this, I found it on proboards forum:
"use Wormopolis' Post Critique plugin support.proboards.com/thread/468994/post-critiques-library-support?page=1 From my understanding, using this plugin you could create a thread or post recording the name that they're giving feedback about and then users can use this plugin to attach ratings ("critiques") to that post, thereby giving feedback to the business in question. "

i agree that you need a minimum amount of posts before selling. Other boards do it. It would cut down on scammers and people who have nothing to contribute aside from flipping.
a feedback score would be helpful as well with actual feedback. People are making deals in the thousands and tens of thousands, this is a scammer's wet dream.

Seams like everyday I'm seeing someone new with no history jump on the forum and try and unload thousands of dollars worth of art.The majority of them don't even have any photos of said prints or OG's. All they do is post it at some criminally low price and everyone jumps on this stuff like wolves. I understand its are own responsibility to see if we believe these people enough to go threw with these transactions. but this place does need some sort of safe guard.... a minimum Post requirement wont get rid of everybody, but it will get rid of some. So I'm all for if it makes this place safer as a whole.

Maybe people shouldn't be allowed to ask for any other payment than normal PayPal or cash on collection as although it might put the cost up a couple of percent, it would give the buyer the protection they need.
