I actually would probably pick up because it's so wall friendly it would do great in a bathroom or hallway, but the price kills it for me. Would be an easy pick up for 150 mark. |

Perhaps cost is an issue, too. ยฃ100 difference means something.

Personally I actually like both images. I'm always so curious why some images sell out so much faster than others. I think the ArtRepublic image is much more classic Eelus. I agree with some people who said it earlier that if the Upfest drop was cheaper it would've sold out quickly. Will hopefully aim for the gold one and go from there.  I think the gold will sell out, especially with so many people feeling wary about the timed release for the other color edition.

Which of the two new releases will stand the test of time? Who knows, but for me I wanted colour, and lots of it, so I just bought the Upfest print, and will have it framed as it was at Upfest in a multicoloured frame. It will hang well above my RYCA Smiley ๐

How many will sell is difficult to assess and it will be a good marker as to how many loyal fans/collectors he has or continues to have (a few will of lost faith with some of the releases over the last year i guess) but hes still my favourite Artist and is on the wall in 4 rooms in the house (although the wife has said i must sell BSMD)!
I will buy it, doubt the flippers and non eelus lovers will.

I doubt it will stop people flipping - but should allow most a chance to hang an Eelus at sane money

I'd like to see him getting back to being creative and producing something different that would make me want to buy his work again as i have in the early days.

I disagree though, I believe these will be flipped for sure. There will be a percentage that have purchased this with no intention of framer it, let them crack on I say. Just means more will be produced for late comers to the release.

Busy with work and young family just never got in front of the computer or on my phone and forgot it finished at midday today! Im always on the ball for the normal release method and try my luck but just totally forgot. But I was half in two minds with it anyway and was I just wanting it because it was say ยฃ100 less than a normal release and not really for the image.
I wonder what the edition size ended up been in the end!
Seen as NEISBAW was re-released as a lenticular (which many said spoit the OG release) why not a 2017 timed release of that in print form! It would sell and sell and sell!

I am really sorry to inform you there has been a further delay to the shipping of this print.
Eelus has been working closely with the printers on the production of this print and when it came to finally signing off the print today, both he and the printers were not happy with the quality of the final product.
As a special thank you for your continued patience Eelus has agreed to produce a free print that will not be for sale anywhere and will only be sent to customers who ordered this timed release. More details will follow shortly.
We are expecting to receive delivery of all 'Suspender' timed release prints during week beginning 9th October.
Once again please accept both our and the artists sincere apologies for the length to time it has taken to ship this print."
