lol. I don't know the guy personally but none of what you describe sounds like a bad thing to me. He's given 10's of millions to charitable causes and has raised over 100mil in charitable contributions from others. Point being he is in fact philanthropic (which can only be a good thing) and maybe his opinions actually are enlightened over some. 🤷🏻♂️Nothing wrong with successful people enjoying art or life for that matter.

Especially when every "good act" he does also happens to be a tax write off and good publicity for his career. This guy is so obscenely rich that he hasn't even bothered to make a movie in two years.
Most people don't have the time and money to devote to "making the world a better place" because they are too busy trying to survive poverty or stay middle class.

Unlike many who post remarks similar to those you made about DiCaprio, you had a huge advantage: the self-awareness to realise your willingness to judge and publicly criticise was motivated by the expectation of envy.
And yet you commented anyway.
With the luxury of choice, why not listen to that helpful inner voice and just abstain? First, it's simpler. Second, it's the difference between noble restraint and advertising oneself as petty.
