The charcoals look something else. Love them, and I find these more accessible than Micallefs newer painting style, even though I feel he's working through something and still growing.

I did some research and thought they were worth about 7k each but priced them at 5k for a quick sale, no response. My friend then reduced them to ยฃ3750 and still no interest. Any indication of current market value for originals would be most helpful. Thank you

I know a lot of it is quite dark so that may be putting some off... who knows? Right now I would put these around ยฃ1500 - ยฃ2000 personally.. If I was your friend I would maybe try one on eBay with low starting bids and see where it ends up.
