Invader - Space Rescue International, by Buff Monster Fan on Aug 21, 2017 14:58:34 GMT 1, If you're not familiar, Space Rescue International is made up of a group of volunteers who are Invader fans in the UK, NL, TK and NYC that "rescue" removed or stolen Invaders. You can check them on Instagram if you'd like to see some visuals.
What are your thoughts on their work?
Do you like that they return Invaders (mostly) to their former glory for the public to enjoy?
Would you prefer they leave the removed Invaders to memory?
Does the "rescue" process negate the fact that they're no longer technically Invader originals?

I do enjoy the work Space Rescue does, for sure. They actually do a fantastic job in restoring them quite accurately.
To me, much of the joy of Invader is the unique spots that Invader places the works. I prefer to see originals, but still love to see rescued versions as well.

First because I think that thanks to that, the street ones have totally lost their value because you can't say wich one are the originals and which are not (even the street ones have never suppose to have value). Some of them have even been replaced 3 or 4 times !
Then because I'm a huge fan of flashinvaders game 😎

We really appreciate the support and as way of a thank you we decided to break protocol, instead of publishing on IG we thought we'd give you an exclusive. <br><br>Invader hit Malaga at the start of the summer placing 29 invaders around the city. Sadly MLGA_29 was smashed / stolen almost immediately.<br><br>We're a bit sunburnt but are very pleased to let you all know Malaga is back to full strength again - this won't go out on our IG till the morning so this is just for all the great supporters on here <br><br><br><br> <br><br><br><br> <br>
