SOLD: Harland Miller - Who cares wins, by maxamaxa2 on Aug 26, 2017 10:44:44 GMT 1, SOLD
It is time to liquidate some funds so my dear Harland Miller - Who cares wins are now deframed and up for sale.
Unfortunately it showed that my framer had used way too much tape and also managed to tear some paper with it when removing. I got the print with a lot of tape left and have now had it taken care of by a paper restorer, remobing the tape and protecting with cellulosa (reversible).
The front of the print have no marks/damages and look as lovely as always.
Print data Artist: Harland Miller Print: who cares wins (Reflex small edition) Type: screenprint on 410gsm somerset paper Size: 64 x 50 cm Edition: 50 Condition: mint front, damaged backside (see text and images)
This is extremely hard to value since it still is ace on the front and will look as good as always framed. About ยฃ1500 down from a mint one feel like an ok mark down, so I think that around ยฃ6000 would be quite accurate!? Im looking for bids in that area and would take a Jose Parla - St. Giles as part payment.
Images of the damage was extremely hard to take, in this first photo I have adjusted the light so that shiftings get extra visible.

SOLD: Harland Miller - Who cares wins, by Zippy on Aug 26, 2017 16:00:58 GMT 1, No one knows for sure. He has piblically stated 'no' but i think he will. It is what he is loved for and they will in my opinion be the more desirable pieces in years to come.

SOLD: Harland Miller - Who cares wins, by maxamaxa2 on Aug 27, 2017 15:33:24 GMT 1, Thanks a lot for the encouragements, I sure are mad at the framer but you can all probably relax from the fear of using the same since its a framer i Sweden.
The restoration is as mrgrumpy says from what I can tell first class and these rips is not deep enough to have any chance of being visible from the front.
Its very sad with the back condition but it gives someone that want it on their wall the chance to acquire one cheap.
