What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer?, by Deleted on Aug 27, 2017 14:32:12 GMT 1, What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer? Cannot say I fancy any of the above so I would go with a Timed Release with each print numbered and signed - £100 each or just signed...that would work!!

I would guess at least 50,000 so that's a lot of signing for Banksy.

He can't do traditional releases anymore and there's ample opportunities to hang images on your wall if you just want to look at them and not get caught in the whole game.

Much prefer his direction in the last couple if years. Sadly his prints now represent greed.

What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer?, by Icesay on Aug 27, 2017 16:11:31 GMT 1, If Banksy really stood for the people then why not produce a unsigned timed unlimited run print about something he really cares about for £100. Everyone would know it's an unlimited edition and would not devalue signed Ltd runs or og's.

What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer?, by Deleted on Aug 27, 2017 16:59:46 GMT 1, Even a one off 1,000 edition release wouldn't be enough. It would either crash a website or cause a riot outside a gallery. The best option is an open or timed edition. I reckon a timed edition over say a period of one month of a decent image could be sold for around £2k. Who knows how many would sell, I'd suspect it would be well over 10,000. That means that it's quite possible a print could gross £20m.

What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer?, by artfanmiami on Aug 27, 2017 18:11:59 GMT 1, A numbered & signed timed release of a week, even a month as mentioned before, at £100 each would be AMAZING for any Banksy fan. An unlimited edition just seems less appealing as it would be never ending. But I'd likely still get it. ;P When I see prices for my favorite Banksy it hurts to know that it's basically unattainable unless my wealth does some major spike. Most prints are selling well north of a car's purchase price. Some more than a house!!! And an original well over the entire net worth of most of his fans.

What type of Banksy Print release would you prefer?, by Dexter Bulldog on Aug 27, 2017 20:22:32 GMT 1, anyone that wants any image on the wall can buy it for 20 bucks on amazon or whatever..its not like pest control tries to shut anything of that sort down, you can have a gwb and as many rats as you want, and can look at them every day. why do you need to have an edition of 1000 (as if that would solve anything), if you love the image, its there for you. you dont have to be a collector.
