Revive new show from Martin Whatson..., by sonmi451 on Sept 30, 2017 23:20:03 GMT 1, I hate wading into the Whatson debate tha permeates all of his threads but appreciate the critical, yet respectful manner of the convo in here. I agree w Nobokov... people who like his art seem to be drawn the beauty of it. To me the "tags" almost have a Ab/ex quality to them that makes them pleasant to look at. I don't think anyone who admires MW's work is looking for the depth of a Banksy piece... just my 2 cents.
