Jerkface / Mr. Brainwash, by met on Sept 2, 2017 14:26:07 GMT 1, Thanks in advance for your offers and also your respectful comments. Mr. Brainwash - Where There Is Love, There Is Life[...]
This is the first time I've seen that Mr. Brainwash.
It's really quite something, isn't it?
What's cool is that the two elephants are touching each other lovingly (but not sexually) with their trunks. It's "2 Become 1", as the Spice Girls would say (although I think they meant that sexually). Better yet, the trunks together are actually forming a recognisable shape. It's like the heart shape which celebrities and other people do with their hands on Instagram to show their love of selfies.
On top of that, the trunks have been painted pink โ which, like red, or black if you're Joan Jett, is the colour of a real heart. I'm sure the paint is non-toxic. Toxic paint is bad for elephants. Maybe it's even the same kind used on Tai at Barely Legal. But that's just speculation on my part; I don't know for certain. Can you post a close-up photo of the part with the spraycan so we can check the label?
Separately, the 'Where there is love there is life' slogan is very inspiring (much more so than 'The End is Nigh' or 'Will work for food').
Is it a quote by the actor holding the sign, Ben Kingsley? "Where there is love there is life" may have been one of his lines in Sexy Beast.
__________
This image has so many different levels. It's like an onion with all the layers. I wear swimming goggles when I cut onions to avoid crying. I could go on and on with more art theorising, but that would be pretentious. It's better for each viewer to come up with their own interpretations.
That's the beauty of art. Art is subjective. It is what it is. Such is life. C'est la vie. And that's a fact.
Regrettably, I've no idea what would constitute a fair offer here. How can one even begin to place a financial value on love?
Anyway, shame you have to let the print go. It will look great framed.

Good idea. Why restrict your obvious talents to being one in your own.
