I don't think it's "mental" at all. Seems in line with what is being offered.

These are larger, from a smaller edition and screenprinted. 

4800 for the print set - that will price most out of this one , which should make it fairly easy to grab one (I'm hoping)

There are 10 prints in the series , printed on Somerset Satin 410gsm, in 6-8 colours with a gloss varnish overprint, 298mm x 386mm.

The remaining prints (ed 11-30/30) will be available on our website from 4pm BST on Thursday 21st Sept. Price £480.

Curious what the price point is on the paintings. Has anyone heard?

Nice concept with the set and was thrilled in the beginning to see this.
But after having a closer look at the individual pieces I rather try to get two individual prints as most of them don't look "exciting" enough for me for that price :/

So if you had to pick only one!? What would be your choice? President Reagan or J.K Simmons?

Maybe 2 or 3 decent images in the 10 imo - I think the concept as a whole is pretty incredible, just the images don't carry the project.

Personally, I haven't followed his career for that long -- about two/three years. He's a skilled painter and I really enjoy his style. TBH, I'm not that big on "street art" and mostly gravitate towards artists with a background in traditional graffiti, as opposed to many artists who get comfy walls to paint with permission. I know that CH has painted tons walls without permission (Studio Cromie has a nice video on his trip to Southern Italy) and I thinks it's reflective in how impulsive some of his strokes can be, and I mean that as a compliment. Please, let's not berate me on my ignorance of his street career.

I think print releases and projects like this can drive the culture forward in a big way. It's obviously a risk, in the fact that it's a ton of money to drop on a series of prints or a small OG. On the flip-side, he's been thoughtful enough to only release 10 box sets and has allotted the remaining 200 to be purchased individually at a fair price when considering his market. In addition, I think a lot of thought went into this whole project. Although there are 300 prints total, they are all high quality screenprints and look to be printed with a lot of care and intention. With the current demand for his prints, this project also nods as a well intentioned initiative to let more collectors get ahold of one of his prints on release. And yes, these don't seem to be as fleshed out as the three he recently put out, they still capture his style and vary slightly print to print each only in an edition of 30.

Coming from someone who owns none of his prints, but has been curious about them, I'm looking forward to the release. I still don't know if I'll spring for one since I may have exceeded my purchasing quota for a bit. Just my 2¢.

i'd pay maybe $1,300 for that red set.

this is a strange play. the images are so blatantly "set images" in that none of them would ever be able to look decent on their own on a wall.

at least everyone who wants the set will get the set! hoping CH turns things around; this is disappointing to me. personally wouldn't pay 480GBP for a single one of those images.

obviously this is my own opinion and others are entitled to theirs; i just find this to be a step backwards.
