Apologies if this has been done before but.....
1. Do any forum members own a mosaic Invader book?
2. Surely they are more rare and sought after than the Invasion kits??
3. Are they released to private galleries/investors only???
I think they are awesome and would love to see photos and more details of them if anyone has them :-)

From my personal experience, 'special' books tend to be not as sought after as you'd think. Book readers don't want them, art collectors often shun them. They are a unique hybrid that really only appeals to a very narrow market. To make matters worse, they are often priced in-line with 'real' work when the demand is no where near that level.

True, but attaching 'book' to it kills the market(compared to what one would think it would be).
I'll give a different example. A Cy Twombly work on paper is, say, $500,000. A canvas, of the same exact size, would be $3million+. Size the same, technique the same, but the market views the substrate difference as hugely important and prices accordingly. To the market, works on paper are lesser, and in this case the multiple is 6x+ lesser. I'd imagine you'd find some Warhol multiples much larger, paper vs. canvas, even though silkscreen is silkscreen.

Normally created and released for a show/invasion guide release...there's a lovely ROMA one floating around here...a classic👾🙏🏻

The ceramic books from that show were seriously a level above all the ones he had done before and are great pieces to display.
Given how beautiful the Ravena invasion was, the ceramic books could be seriously lovely

Personally, I wasn't sure at first, but when I saw them in person I was blown away! They look awesome in the custom frames, plus I'm a big fan of the more striking red/black/white/gold images. I guess my thinking also was: when else would I be able to buy a unique Invader? (The alias pieces were definitely out of my reach.)
The prices apparently vary depending on the image - some seem to be more sort after than others. Anyone got an idea of how much the new ones were going for in LA? Always good to know.
