If he doesn't reply and the prints turn out to be fake and it comes out that he was asked about the print and refused to answer people will wonder why? After all he hasn't turned into a prima donna yet has he?
So if he doesnt respond to a request from some random internet bloke his credibility is in tatters ?

Aprรจs, tout dรฉpend le prix que lโon vous en demande. To sum up:not legit,print made and sold without Invaderโs agreement. Just a cheap copy,even compared to an ยซ Ikea ยป reproduction... If I was thinking of spending my hard earned five quid on one I would contact invader and ask are these legit or not but seeing as I'm not interested in buying one I assumed that artists are happy to clarify situations regarding their art and their prints they produced either directly or via an authentication committee if they are mega big time and died a few decades ago. My contribution is useful. |

I had a signed version for two years and sold it for less than i paid for it just before prices went nuts so no point in seeking my opinion ๐

Worse than that, these things are indistinguishable from the real thing. Grab a pencil, stick a number and a doodle on it and it'll be a dead ringer for one of the one hundred.
Will make it tough to feel safe in buying the real deal. Certainly far tougher than any other invader print.

The issue over validity of these particular prints has nothing to do with the lack of signature.

CAT is still under the impression from the Publisher that this print is legit and authorised by Invader...Tia has received emails confirming this from Invaders Camp and is beleagured as to why one response from them agrees with this and the other against....this is ongoing...
So as a gesture of goodwill i am offering a full refund on the price of the print to those that no longer wish to keep the print regardless of outcome..i am trying to put buyers minds at rest knowing that if they are not happy they can seek full refund. This is not because i know something for definite ...i don't..it is purely to ease their minds if they feel uneasy keeping the print.
Comments regarding this print from other members have not been helping as most comments are coming from those that have no vested interest in this print. I have been inundated with PM's and emails from Members now looking to buy this print at a reduced level...indeed most of those that have asked for a refund have also requested this...so this is CATs position..
CAT shall refund the selling price of the print ยฃ1250 to all those that purchased directly from CAT, anyone that has since sold this print on shall not be entitled to any refund at any point, nor shall any third parties.
CAT shall ONLY refund the cost of the print...no shipping costs (to be reviewed) or framing costs shall be refunded, the refund is as a good will gesture as this print is deemed by CAT to be legit and CAT has in no way received undisputed evidence to the contrary....in fact quite the opposite. I shall review initial shipping costs as and if i receive full and final confirmation directly from Invader that these are indeed fake.
CAT will not be offering purchasers the chance to purchase this print at a reduced level...its either a full refund or you keep...simple, sorry but the Publisher has requested the print be returned.
CAT will not be selling these prints to anyone else at a reduced level.
A full refund shall only be paid once the print has been returned with COA to an address to be confirmed, the print MUST arrive in the same condition as it was sent (framing tabs are acceptable)..I would suggest flat packed as if the print is damaged in the tube, or in any other way no refund shall be given. Sorry again at the request of the Publisher.
I shall reiterate that the refund is not a sign that the prints are fake..it is purely for those that no longer wish to hold the print due to these ongoing concerns...concerns that i am still working on with the Publisher and Artist.

I dont post often but I thought with everything going on I probably should. I have actually purchased one of these prints direct from Tia, I had not met Tia or did not know her previous to this purchase but after meeting her I 100% believe these to be genuine and I can categorically say these have not been sold for any greed or personal profit as other have alluded to. Purchasing the print of her was one of the nicest experiences I have had buying any not direct from the gallery and Tia is a very genuine person who is trying to make a difference.
Tia is actually one of the good guys and was telling me how she plans to use the money raised for the le good society. The Le Good Society aim create awareness of eco issues, please check out their instagram. www.instagram.com/legoodsociety. You will see they was running a Shigley competition last week.
I know everyone is looking for comprehensive proof but I honestly I am not worried. I understand this is not as black and white as everyone would like but surely the fact that people have been offered refunds if they are not happy, shows that this has not come from a bad place and that there was no intention to rip people of or take advantage of them. I have no intention to return mine or sell it, as I love the image and again believe given time everything will be cleared up.

What is funny about that? Not sure why the need of saying it like that? You seem to be implying that the ones who have asked for it at a reduced cost are somehow trying it on.
I was one who asked for a reduced cost because I have spent hundreds on framing and postage, and more than likely return postage as well. At it currently stands the prints are not worth ยฃ1250, so I would rather pay what it is worth and keep it framed on my wall for the value it is, and the framing cost is what it is.
