appreciate some people are very frustrated on this invader piece but agree with missyparrot that this should be taken directly with Cat.

Nothing was said on this thread between the 24th of Feb until the gallery posted the following this morning of the 28th.

I have been presented with clear factual evidence from both publisher and artist that these prints are authentic and as described.
This thread and entire situation has arisen as a result of alledged blackmail. I, therefore, will not be getting involved and will no longer be able to offer a refund due to legal reasons.
It saddens me that this situation has arisen and my reputation has been called into question. The facts have now come to light and I ask that you respect these and my integrity.
I will be making no further comment on this thread or on the forum.

If they had perhaps instead contacted the people concerned by email or Pm and explained the situation then people may not have reacted as they did

Not naming any names but there seems to be an opaque vail over some of the operators on this site and for that matter other art sites. I donโt use them partly for that reason as their status could be that of a sole trader, limited company or just a hobbyist. If itโs the latter it is much like buying from eBay but without the protection, even more so if the supplier doesnโt accept PayPal. Iโm not saying this case is a scam but people need to be aware that paying money outside of PayPal into a strangerโs account regardless of how many stars or recommendations they have carries risk if the deal goes Pete Tong.
As to this case hopefully there can be an amicable solution found.

Just people are reacting to cats posts , where statements are retracted and posts stating emails confirming prints are genuine but no confirmation , if posts are going to be posted on a public forum expect comments to follow good or bad.
People can talk all they want , facts and statements from the buyers , artist and publisher is what counts.
Ideally should of not commented and just liase with buyers but all the background noise will effect his business hence maybe he feels to comment .

Any person wanting to take legal action against a members comments on this thread would need to open a police case and ask the police to email me daniel@danielsilk.com before I could be authorised to give out any IP or email address info on those members.
The facts are very unclear on this thread, and I always feel it's best to let things run to give everyone the chance to state and uncover the truth.
