Maybe. Might just be different tastes.
To me, this is a classic, white-paper era Fairey print, representing the early phase of what is a legendary career. It has the classic 'power to the posse' verbiage, the Andre icon's eyes looming in the background, and the thick, rich ink/colors seen on prints of this era. They have a very handmade appeal to them.
Edition size of 100, but from watching Fairey's work for the last 12 years, far fewer are probably still in existence. The condition makes it even more of a rarity, as many works from this era are full of pinholes and tape marks. These weren't 'fine art', these were tacked up by college kids on their dorm room walls.
For a Fairey fan, as I am, this is a very nice piece and will make a great addition to someone's wall.

What I am missing is the reason behind the OP saying they'd reduced to 1600 but the original price was 1600.
