I recently had bad dealings with burberry010487 aka csuca , he purchased and paid for items sold on here , he than pretended he had not recieved them , he asked to send in claim forms to postal service and return of money , and proceeded to sell them on an e bay platform site in Germany called Kleinanzeigen , username Ingo , stay well clear of him as he is rotten to the core

If you decide to proceed, make sure to use Paypal goods / services or protection

Hey all I bought an art piece to the seller on Jan 6th 2021 and it was sent to me by the seller on Jan 9th 2021 (tracking number XXXXX). It arrived to my place on Jan 18th but it was not packed correctly inside and some pieces broke. I reported this to the seller through private messages (see transcript for pictures). The seller reacted fast and kindly proposed to send the damaged pieces for free, which I agreed. Replacement pieces were sent by the seller on Feb 1st (tracking number lXXXXX) and arrived to my home on Feb 19th. Once again the pieces were not packed properly and 2 of 3 pieces were damaged / broken (see pictures in transcript). I reported this to the seller, sent multiple messages / email (see email transcript) but haven't really heard back. On March 5th, I mentionned that I may start a Paypal reclaim and on March 6th, the seller answered that he'll be happy to send replacement once again, which I agreed one more time as I really wanted to get that art piece complete at home and to let a new chance to the seller. Since that moment and despite multiple emails, haven't heard back I'll prefer closing the deal now due to the lack of reactivity of the seller I'll be happy to send all pieces back and get refunded the full amount of the purchase The transcript is extracted from the Urban Art Association forum, I also included two screenshots of the forum message box. Will be happy to share my credentials if someone want to check the messages with the seller. Let me know if you need anything else Best

In total, I've been sent a complete boxset (which concrete arrived broken and damaged the internal frame and print) and 3 replacement pieces in a second parcel: print (torn), internal frame (broken), concrete piece (ok). I'm still missing an undamaged print and the internal frame.At the end of the day, I have an undamaged piece of concrete and the external white frame

How can you be sure the seller is of good faith?
Your certainty on this point feels unwarranted to me. The reference to "Replacement pieces" sounds like a red flag in and of itself.

Of greater interest to me is what gave you the confidence you were buying an authentic Banksy box set in the first place.
Even factoring in minor discrepancies that can occur between various print runs, the image quality of the work(s) in the photos above is noticeably inferior to other box sets I've come across online.
The top image below is a detail from one of @buckets101's photos (after straightening). The bottom image is a detail from another box set that was offered via an auction website*.

However, considering the hotel had been closed for over a year, there were already red flags around the replacements. I really wish readers and posters on this forum would stop going after anything banksy that doesn't have a PC COA. Fakes exist and people are being taken advantage of. Well before he deleted his account I had a peep in his history. He has sold and/or put other items for sale including a sculpture of nativity scene. He seemed to be located probably in Palestine or wanted people to think so. Unfortunately I wasn't thorough enough and I didn't take any screenshots (was more interested in watching the game and by the way CONGRATS fellow forumites for England's victory!!!)

I see the seller has already parted ways with the Ur ban Art Association โ at least under the guise of @ buckets101 / Mohammed123. Monkey โ Provided you agree this gesture of immediately deleting their account was an implied admission of guilt by a fraudster who was selling fakes to members of this forum, perhaps you would be kind enough to share with us their name and contact details, including PayPal address. This may help to lower the risk of other members getting conned if that same individual later reappears under a different username. Agreed.
